Blowing up an image, no matter how well it is done, still requires creating pixels where none exist. The inevitable result is softening of the image. Posting the original scan would allow the best results.
Unfortunately it's 9 X 11, and I think that would effectively blow FC to smithereens if I were to post it, http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/biglaugh.gif ... I know y'all like me, but too much of a good thing, ain't great, LOL

Thanks Rhino, wow I'm learning something new every day, LOL.
Now the big question, is it necessary? If y'all say that it looks okay, I guess there's no reason to change it ... I mean, I know what it looks like, I was there when it was taken and it's sitting right before me on my scanner bed, LOL.
Think I'll leave it as is, but Doc, perhaps you could help me with the one I'm hoping to find. It's not as big, I think its 4 x 6 .... if I can ever find the thing, sheesh, too much clutter in my picture box!

I have been looking for our engagement picture ... we did separate ones too, but I didn't want to scan both, and was hoping to find the one we used for the newspaper and invites. I can get to the separates quicker tho (STILL can't find that one!), so I'll scan those in just a min.

And who might that be?
The movie is called The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen -- here's a synposis from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003) - MovieWeb (http://movieweb.com/movies/film/34/534/summary.php)
Set in Victorian England, the story centers around a team of extraordinary figures enlisted by a mysterious caller to stop a villain intent on turning the nations of the world against one another. The coterie of heroes are led by Allan Quartermain (Sean Connery) and comprise some of the greatest figures from adventure literature: Captain Nemo (Naseeruddin Shah), Dracula vampiress Mina Harker (Peta Wilson), invisible man Rodney Skinner, (Tony Curran), American secret service agent Sawyer (Shane West), Dorian Gray (Stuart Townsend), and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde (Jason Flemyng). Richard Roxburgh ("Moulin Rouge") plays the League's enigmatic recruiter, M. Stephen Norrington ("Blade") directs.
The character in the picture is Dorian Gray, description found here: Dorian Gray - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorian_Gray)
Dorian Gray is the main character (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fictional_character) of Oscar Wilde (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Wilde)'s The Picture of Dorian Gray (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Picture_of_Dorian_Gray). In the novel Gray's portrait ages, while Gray himself appears to remain perpetually youthful.

For DVD series, I have ALL the Bond films except Casino Royale (don't like it), and the complete UFO series. I've also developed a strong liking for Brit mysteries: the full Poirot series; the full Midsommer Murders series; the Touch of Frost series; and the MI-5 series (in the UK, Spooks), which is TEE-rific. I'm waiting for the third set to arrive.
Don't ask about the VHS collection. Aside from three or four Hartnells, I have every Doctor Who episode. I also have flicks that almost no one remembers, e.g., Not Like Us, Freejack, The Ghosts of Mars, Hollowpoint, the Matt Helm series (Dean Martin), etc.

Well my current DVD collection includes: 50 First Dates, Animal House, Around the World in 80 Days (Disney), Blue Collar Comedy Tour & Rides Again, Bond: Goldeneye & Die Another Day, Brother Bear, Caddyshack, Cheaper By The Dozen, Finding Nemo, Frequency, i, Robot, I-Spy, Lilo & Stitch, Lord of the Rings I, II, III, Lovesick, Matrix Revolutions, Men in Black I & II, Monsters, Inc., Mr. Mom, My Big Fat Greek WEdding, Natioal Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean, Serenity, Shanghai Noon & Night, Snow Dogs (our very first DVD), Spiderman I & II, Star Trek: Generations & Nemesis, Star Wars I, II, III, Stripes, The History of Nascar, The Incredibles, The Master of Disguise, The Medallion, The Transporter, Van Helsing, X-Men I & II
And, so as not to break the thread too far off its topic, I'm posting a pic of my little "familiy" -- the following is a picture of my Mom, Dad, and I at a friend of their's wedding. Tell me I'm not the cutest thing, LOL. What's so funny about this picture, to me, is that you see, I'm adopted and SO many times people tell me "how much" I look like my parents (before they know) ... in this picture, you can really see how hilarious that is, :smirky: .

P. S. On the chance y'all will indulge me just a bit more, I have a question (this thread gets more traffic than the Library, that's why I'm asking here) ... does anyone remember a series a long time ago about a guy who supposedly died in a car accident, but is like a ghost and goes around saving people's lives? I want to say Roger Moore was in it, I know it was a Brit invention. I remember watching that show with my Dad, but cannot for the life of me remember any more than that.

... does anyone remember a series a long time ago about a guy who supposedly died in a car accident, but is like a ghost and goes around saving people's lives?
Roger Moore's TV series (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000549/filmoseries) filmography doesn't list anything like that. Hopefully someone will remember that one.

Thank you so much for posting that link Doc, I actually FOUND it ... it was called The Saint! I think they did a remake of it with Val Kilmer, but it was nothing like that TV series. I thought he had died (Moore's character) but I guess not ... I remember the car and the music. Thank you again, Doc! Wonder if they have those on DVD, hmmmmm.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to clean it up so nicely? My picture programs couldn't make that one look that good! That picture was actually a scan of an OLD polaroid, LOL --- amazing it turned out so well on screen!
BTW, for all, that man in the pic is my beloved (late) father -- a great man. His conservative values live on in me, and hopefully in mine down the line. He is greatly missed ... y'all all would have loved him, I promise. Very funny, very loving, and very smart -- I only bested him twice in his lifetime .... once when I could spell astronaut and he couldn't, LOL, and once when I called to tell him I got a new cell phone and we were sitting in his driveway (it was April Fool's Day ... he LOVED that day, and except for that one, beat me to the punch every year!) His birthday is coming up, guess that's why I'm feeling so sentimental ... y'all forgive me, please.
Here's to you Daddy -- I miss you so much!

* End of Days (another Arnold Schwartzneggar movie)
A classic Ahnuld film.
Conservatives are a strange lot!
Doc seriously Stealth is a good flick.
Fantastic 4 was funny and entertaining, good storyline also
Daredevil was also good with lotsa action
But I Definitely KNOW you'd LOVE tango & cash.
You have GOT to get that one, its a hoot, and totally Un-PC as they go :D
Stallone and Kurt Russel do well together!

The Dukes of Hazzard, the Complete First Season

The Dukes of Hazzard, the Complete Third Season
The Dukes of Hazzard, the Complete Fourth Season
The Dukes of Hazzard, the Complete Fifth Season

Star Trek: Nemesis

Fantastic 4 (yea your enemies, it wuz a fun show)

Good pics!
Some of my favorites that I own:
Lord of the Rings (I think the extended versions are best)
Dr. Strangelove
Babe (a VERY sweet movie about a pig and his farmer owner)
The NeverEnding Story (truly a fine film)
The Producers (one of Mel Brook's best)
Animal House ('nuff said)
Blind Fury (IMHO, an excellent film starring Rutger Hauer, that manages to combine humor and violence)
Dogfight (possibly my favorite all-time move, starring River Phoenix and Lili Taylor - a bittersweet love story from the Vietnam era)
BTW, my cellphone is one of those smartphones, and I have it set up so that my incoming calls from undesignated callers play the actual theme from "Animal House" as my ringtone. I try hard to make sure the phone doesn't go off in church with that one, however. http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/smile.gif

Yep. I've watched that one over and over again, maybe about 6 times total now. I enjoy it each and every time.
Springtime for Hitler and Germany ... Another inspired casting - Zero Mostel and the manic Gene Wilder.
I just about choked on my food the first time I watched the part where Wilder goes into a panic attack because his "blankie" was taken away from him.
Hauer (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000442/) is an underrated action film hero, e.g., Bladerunner, Crossworlds and Omega Doom.
I didn't realize Hauer was in Bladerunner. Only saw that movie once, on a rental. Never saw Crossworlds or Omega Doom. The scene in Blind Fury where he took on the gang of toughs in the roadhouse, pretending that he was hitting them all by mistake, and apologizing to them while he continued to take them out, one by one, saying "Ooops!" and "Sorry!", cracked me up.
Rutger Hauer was in the sci-Fi classic 'Blade Runner'

Hmmm, maybe I was thinking 'Slingblade'? I don't usually watch the sci-fi flics, and to be honest, if I did actually see Blade Runner, I certainly didn't recognize Hauer in it.
I'm not nearly as big a movie fan as some of you other posters, I can see that. And I can't think of any recently-produced films (other than 'The Passion') that I thought were noteworthy. I feel all the artistry has gone out of Hollywood. So many writers these days have nothing of worth to say. Probably because their own personal lives are so shallow, lacking in substance, and they are completely unaware of the transcendental. In short, they really don't understand what it is to be a human being, made in the very likeness and image of God. How sad for them...

Besides Star Trek, The Pink Panther series with Peter Sellers was a favorite memory shared with my Father. Prior to his death in 1999, he had purchased every one of the movies on VHS, and I inherited them. Something interesting and ironic -- my father was born on a 10th, died on a 10th, and the new remake (with Steve Martin) comes out on the 10th of this month. I will be in the audience this Friday with an empty seat beside me for my Father. We will once again share a laugh at the expense of Inspector Clouseau, http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/icon7.gif.

I didn't realize Hauer was in Bladerunner. He was Roy Batty, the blonde replicant that had it out with Harrison Ford at the end.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
Supposedly, Hauer adlibbed the soliloquy.

the first one i put up said jackie chan
i wouldnt have guessed that one in a million years, but then again, i couldnt think of any celebrity i looked like, i guess thats why chan was only a 63% match
my second try said michael jordan, then keanu reeves
3rd picture said michael schumacher, andy roddick, and ralf schumacher
i put in one with glasses and it came up with larry king, kim jong Il, and noam chomsky

Your picture is too small, that's why you're not getting any matches.
Anyways, all the pictures that I have of me, have been photoshopped a little bit. I love messing around with them, so as a result I don't have any "true" pictures of me.

Here are the kids.
The first one is of my oldest, Chris. He's five in this picture. He'll be turning seven next month. The boy is 100% pure me, and I love it.
http://hosted.timpauly.com/scullyspics/photo.php?file=/scullys/bickleej/Chris%5C%27s%20School%20Picture.gif
This next picture is of Danny playing with our dog Raven. He's three in this one. He'll be five in July. We don't have the dog anymore, unfortunatly. We gave him away before we left Germany.
http://hosted.timpauly.com/scullyspics/photo.php?file=/scullys/bickleej/Danny%20and%20Raven.jpg
To be continued.
Absolutely adorable two little boys!

Soon as I get my senior Picture resized and fixed up, Ill post that one also.
This is me dunking it during the warm-up of one of our games. I was pretty much an official bench sitter and pine-polisher, but I still had some fun moments here and there.
Thanks, Kate. I'm pretty fond of 'em.:thumb:
And so you should be! The third lovely little boy is as adorable as his two brothers. The "Like Father, Like Son"-picture is really cute :)

Looking at that pair o jeans I have on, I remember pouring myself into those LOL, having to lie down to zip em up and then not being able to bend. It took an hour to hot curl the hair and do makeup.
