President Christopher Walken.

According to the "official campaign website," (http://www.walken2008.com/)the actor known for psychologically damaged characters in "The Deer Hunter," "The Dead Zone" and dozens of other movies going back to Woody Allen's "Annie Hall," is off and running for the White House.

According to a press release posted on the website this week, the 62-year-old New Yorker has laid out a few positions, but doesn't plan any active campaigning until he completes some acting obligations. "Mr. Walken has greatly admired the celebrities who have entered politics and he wants to be able to give a good name and reputation to the acting community as well as the political community," his agent Toni Howard is quoted as saying. "As for going national with this news, we have not made any plans for the immediate future."

I see nothing worth voting for -- stick to your day job, Mr. Walken, moonlighting does not become you.

i think he is a great actor , i think he should stay with that . his political views might be liberal , so i think he should be careful because he might lose fans .

That's funny, the cowbell skit is the first thing I thought of, too.

I love it when he is on SNL, but he is too creepy to even consider. No matter what his politics are. Has he ever been married? I have never heard anything about his family. Then there's that Natalee Wood thing.

Don't worry. It's a hoax anyway. (http://www.zap2it.com/movies/news/story/0,1259,---26540,00.html)

Yeah, well, Hillary says she's not running in '08 either. But nobody's listening and nobody believes her.

Guys, I'm no different than you. I put my pants on one leg at a time. Only when I get those pants on I make gold records.

All the charactors this guy plays are all severely demented in one way or another. I think he should stick to acting.
