Jimmy Carter, the peanut farmer and former U.S. President, has a huge problem: his mouth. The things emanating from that orifice are bizarre in the extreme, considering that Carter was arguably the worst president in the history of the United States. His most recent foot-in-mouth episode involves his running commentary on George W. Bush’s veracity and the "atrocities" committed by American soldiers in the war on terrorism. Carter maintains that had the U.S. not waged war against the Taliban who were sponsors of Osama bin Laden’s al Qaeda network, or deposed Saddam Hussein, then the Islamic terrorists would have no excuse for attacking the West.

Good piece. I can't stand Jimmy and I love how the left now portrays him. I remember when he was an embarrassment to them. I guess they think everyone has forgotten.

The only American president who was ever worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize was Reagan, the man who ended the Cold War, stopped communist expansionism dead in its tracks and brought down that gangster regime, the Soviet Union, without firing a sing shot at it, at least not directly at it.
He did what I once hoped Nixon would do and what Goldwater would have done. Instead, Nixon inaugurated the era of détente, a policy which only served to prop up that insidious regime, and Goldwater was trounced by Johnson.
Carter, you effeminate, incompetent boob, shut your filthy mouth.
America wasnt even IN Afganistan and Iraq when the Muslim terrorists slaughtered approx 3,000 people in one day, so how can our going after the Taliban and Deposing Saddam 'make' anything different?? These terrorists were attacking America long before we ever did those two things.
Gee Carter, could you please get SOMETHING straight someday???
Whatta moron

Not to mention that the Iranian people are wailing under an oppression many times worse than anything they ever contended with under the Shah, that the entire region, that the entire world, must now contend with a terrorist nation-state armed with nukes. Wait a minute, I just mentioned that.

And remember that to the delirious delight of Democrats, it was the grinning and well-intentioned Jimmy Carter who welcomed tens of thousands of AIDS-infected Haitians to the United States thus triggering an international pandemic.

...I remember when he was an embarrassment to them... He's still an embarrassment to them - they're just too stupid and too arrogant to be embarrassed anymore... Jimmy Carter is only a slightly more polished version of his brother Billy - But as far as smarts, they are just about equal...
As far as the Nobel PISS Prize... Well, that should tell you what I think of it... Reagan did not deserve such an insult... I'm glad it was never offered to him...
What is it with these Democratic Ex-Presidents? Carter... Clinton... They are both so obsessed with their "legacies" that they can't stop campaigning even after their presidential terms are long over... narcissistic Glory-Hogs, both of them...
In my humble opinion the Last Nobel Peace Prize that was DECENT was in 1986 to Elie Wiesel, after that I think the politics started taking over.

Carter is such an embarassment. You would think that someone in the Dem party would eventually wise up and put some tape over his mouth!!

Carter has several claims to dubious distinction. He is, among ex-presidents, the
* ugliest
* smarmiest
* most embarrassing
* stupidest
* least cerebral
* most anti-American
* least likable
* phoniest
* biggest fluke
* biggest flake
There is nothing, absolutely nothing -- zero, zip -- to recommend Carter. Nixon at least loved America and Johnson at least was a good politician. Jimmy Carter wasn't good at anything. All he did was stink up Washington even worse than it had been. His incompetence, moral confusion and childishness contributed more to advance evil in the world than any president before or since. He won the presidency by a fluke and has hung around ever since, an outsider mutt hanging around a bitch in heat, hoping to get another shot at the big prize. He needs to hurry up and die and quit embarrassing the country.

Damn, I wish I'd written that!

Ever notice that Carter is the male version -- well, that is to say, as some male versions go -- of Eleanor Roosevelt, the homeliest first lady in history? Dude can't even do ugly like a man; he had to squat to it.

He needs to hurry up and die and quit embarrassing the country.He won the Presidency as the result of a public knee-jerk reaction to Nixon's demise... In short, he was at the right place at the right time, and the Dems thought they needed a Southern governor in order to win...
And today we are still feeling the effects of his reign of insanity... Not the least of which are such brilliant contributions as the Department of Energy, Giving the Panama Canal away to the Russians (yall do realize that the Russians control the Canal now - in our back yard), and the worst - he gutted the CIA... If the truth be known, that single action on his part is probably the biggest contribution to us not knowing about the 9/11 attacks before hand and the bad intel on WMD in Iraq... We have not recovered from that fine bit of leadership and probably wont for years to come...
As usual, some Liberal makes the mess and Conservatives spend years repairing the damage...

Carter thought it his business to clean America up, right past wrongs -- real and imagined. Idiot sold out America's interests every chance he got.

Carter is America's Neville Chamberlain... A bigger fool has never sat in the Oval Office... Thank God his tenure was short-lived and he was replaced by the 2nd greatest President in our history (Washington still holds at No 1 for me)...

Memo to Jimmieee: Since when do terrorists need an excuse? What excuse did Clinton give them the 5 times we were attacked under his tenure? President Bush hasn't been attacked once. 9/11 was planned on Clinton's watch. Bush has torn the Taliban and Al Qaeda a new asshole.

The thread desperately needs a smiley of a pack of "ATTACK RABBITS" chasing Jimmy. Perhaps they could be individually labeled, truth, honor, decency, integrity, courage, intelligence, patriotism and other attributes missing in Carter.
