HOUSTON -- Classes resumed Monday at a Houston-area high school after maintenance crews disinfected the school over the weekend, battling an outbreak similar to the Norwalk virus.
The illnesses occurred last week at Cypress Creek High School, 9815 Grant Road, in northwest Harris County.
Cypress Fairbanks School District officials told News2Houston that 646 high school students stayed home sick Friday, while another 82 were sent home with symptoms.
