BILOXI, Miss. - The Philadelphia Eagles opened their exhibition schedule on the road against Pittsburgh on Monday night, and Terrell Owens was someplace else.
The Bahamas, perhaps. Chilling at Drew Rosenhaus' crib in South Florida. Waiting for room service to deliver the pacifier at the Waldorf-Astoria. Take your pick.
Owens has put a face on the me-first, everybody-else-last crowd, just seven months or so after generating so much good will with his gritty performance in the Super Bowl, when he played on a still-healing broken leg.
The Eagles knew what they were getting into when they obtained Owens' services, and they were prepared to stand firm when the petulant wide receiver tried to hold them hostage last week at training camp.
The Eagles are still standing firm. Owens is still playing the fool.
Anybody in Philly will tell you that it's Donovan McNabb's town, unless Allen Iverson is taking the Sixers to the NBA Finals.

If Owens keeps dissing McNabb in Phila., PA, he may find himself out of football and into talk radio--guest-hosting for Rush Limbaugh.
