We say no to the occupation (http://www.socialistworker.org/2005-1/536/536_01_Protests.shtml)

CINDY SHEEHAN’S son Casey was killed in action in Iraq on April 4, 2004, just three weeks after he was deployed to Iraq. Cindy is a co-founder of Gold Star Families for Peace, an antiwar organization of relatives of service members killed in action.

WE HAVE to stop this war before any other moms have to go through what I’m going through.

The insult to the soldiers who lost their lives is that they were put there in that situation to lose their lives in the first place. Just because my son is dead, why would I want one more person to be dead because of it? Not one more of our soldiers, not one more Iraqi person.

One of the main groups I hold responsible is the mainstream media--because they have abrogated the responsibility to be objective and to go out and investigate. If anybody had just come out and said in the mainstream media that there’s no reason for this war, my son might be alive. Since the invasion, I think it’s getting worse. The mainstream media has become a propaganda tool for the administration. Sometimes, I just feel like bashing my head against the wall until I’m unconscious, but I can’t, because you’ve got to keep fighting. The stakes are too high.

"Sometimes, I just feel like bashing my head against the wall... "

I think you've already done that, Cinders. Evidence: "The mainstream media has become a propaganda tool for the administration."

:hahaha:

Cindy is pro-Saddam, pro-terrorist, pro-communist.

She claims to be anti-war and anti-Bush. She is clearly anti-American.

But, hey, it's a free country.

She has made some of the most assinine anti-America comments I have ever heard and I am surprised that she is getting ANY support, even from the liberals. She's a little off base on this comment as well :

"The insult to the soldiers who lost their lives is that they were put there in that situation to lose their lives in the first place."

What she is failing to see is that the insult to the soldiers who lost their lives in battle is HER!!! These soldiers volunteered to go into the military, fought a courageous battle, and we should be proud of their efforts and love for this country. And we ARE proud. All except cindy. She not proud. By calling what her son died for "unnecessary" and unjustified, she is insulting him in the worst way :(

The pompous, prattling putz is rapidly moving beyond merely boring. If she's too farking ignorant to comprehend that her fame (infamy) is solely because she's a useful idiot for the MSM, then she's too stupid to live.

I'm growing really sick of the bitch, as no doubt is the rest of America.

Sheehan claims that the United States currently wages an unjust war in Iraq. But her argument fails to compel anyone to cross party lines because she offers no example or definition of a just war. Decrying evil without proposing good provides no political might, as the Democratic Party learned in the 2004 election.

Nevertheless, she has thrown down a gauntlet to those who support the war, albeit inadvertently. In doubting the righteousness of the military action, she has given hawks an opportunity to win over some doves by providing a reasonable rationale for continuing and escalating the United States' presence in Iraq. Too often, war supporters simply claim that citizens must support their armed forces, regardless of whether or not the cause is good.

To quell liberal dissension, conservatives must use logic and cultural empathy (the left's comfort foods) to show that the troops have belonged, and continue to belong, in Iraq.

"To prevent a chain reaction collapse of governments in the Middle East, the United States must maintain an armed force against the insurgents" attracts more fence-sitters than "Petitioning for troop withdrawal is anti-American."

The US presence in Iraq was and is fully justified, if for no other reason than liberating 50 million people from the death grip of a monster and his rapist hell-spawns. And the elimination of Iraq's funding for terrorism is a plus.

If the US hadn't dicked around for half a year trying to get the support of the functionless jerkoffs in the equally functionless UN, we could very well have captured the WMD caches that Saddam had far more than enough time to secrete or send out of Iraq.

And if we still enforced the laws against traitors in time of war, Sheehan would be in no position to talk to anyone about anything.
