Cindy Sheehan Requests Privacy
Fri Aug 19 2005 10:49:39 ET

Statement by Cindy Sheehan:

As you've probably heard by now, my sister and I left the other Gold Star mothers in Crawford last night, after our mother had a stroke. I plan on returning to Camp Casey very soon, but while I'm in Los Angeles please respect that my sister, brother and I are here focusing on our mother, while the moms in Crawford focus on Bush. The President is not off the hook.

I hope to hell she NEVER gets privacy again.
I hope the media hordes hound her to death now, when she wants privacy.
Serves the wench right if they did.

I have sympathy that her son died, it's tragic, but she brought the media on herself, and I have no sympathy for her on that note.

CBS Camara Man:"C'mon, crew! Let's get going. Cindy is on her way to California, better meet her over there!"

I hope they never stop going to her, ESPECIALLY when she wants privacy.

This bitch cannot at all request privacy when SHE wants it and then invade the President's backyard and our television screens when SHE wants it. She started this and cannot at all expect this privacy she requests. Especially, as she is requesting it, she is saying that the President is not off the hook.

I hope she gets time with her family but I don't feel an ounce of respect for any of her demands and wishes lately.

Momma's girl.
Seriously, her Mother comes before her dead son, her daughter, and her future ex-husband?

I think it's a excuse to go home and take a shower.

Hey, bitch, getting privacy's easy: Go home to your empty house. Don't talk to anymore tv cameras. Don't call up any radio stations. Live, er, privately, rather than publicly.

You're a typical idiot liberal with no clue about cause-and-effect.

I wish the media would grant her her wish. I'm sick to death of seeing her, hearing her and listening to her. Go away you horrible Mother. Go away you ungrateful bitch. Memo to the media. Please ignore her. Go find another story. Surely there is a story out there that is much more important than this goofball.

To the news media--

Hey! I hear there is some cat poop around there that is growing mold. Surely that is more newsworthy than Cindy.

Sorry, wench, but this is a self-built glass house that you're occupying. You shoved your ugly, hate-twisted face onto America's TV screens. Don't expect that there's an on-off switch that you can throw when you suddenly decide that you want to get away from the undesirable consequences of your shameless, despicable self-aggrandizement.

The price of being a public figure is a lack of privacy. You want the roses. Live with the thorns.

Want privacy?

SHUT UP

This never ceases to amaze me. People, not just Cindy, that want the media's attention when it is convenient and desired by them, but then when they are tired of being followed 24/7 they claim they want privacy. While I don't believe it should be all or nothing, when you put yourself out there as a public figure such as this and demand to be heard, you sometimes get what you ask for...even when you no longer want it.

I'm tired of hearing about her, but I don't think that the media should just ignore her because that's what she wants. What makes her so special?

What makes her so special? I think it's the short yellow bus she rides around in.

She doesn't want privacy. She doesn't want anyone talking to her family. She returned to Bellflower (not Los Angeles) because refusing to go to her mother's side after a severe stroke would have exposed her callousness. She doesn't intend to stay. She intends to return to the bosom of her "friends".

It'd be nice to see if when she does decide to go home another mother who lost a son in Iraq setup tent outside her home to protest Sheehan.
