AOL Poll: Cindy's Support Fading

Watching Bush-bashing Gold Star mom Cindy Sheehan's press coverage, you'd think she has won the hearts and minds of Americans by universal acclamation.

But a massive poll by America Online suggests that Sheehan is actually losing the public opinion battle by a landslide.

Asked: "Do you agree with Sheehan's views?" Cindy's supporters trail her critics, 56 to 44 percent, with nearly 290,000 Americans responding to the technically unscientific survey.

I voted in that poll. They must have gotten early results because it got much higher later on. A much wider margin of pollsters disagree with her.

I also believe she despises everything Casey stood for but couldn't do anything about it because Casey made his own choices. Now, she's just venting her anger and guilt on President Bush and the American public. Advice to Cindy: Get some professional help and put us out of YOUR misery!

I find it amusing that 'support is fading' That's kind of typical isn't it? Oooo something shiney....on to the next 'cause' I imagine it's difficult to expend that much energy in their tazmanian devil type tirades and sustain it for very long. Y'know... this is exactly why when children have temper tantrums it's suggested you ignore them and just wait until they get tired and bored with themselves.
