DH Deploys Tomorrow

I know everyone here has long prayer lists, if you can squeeze another name on your list I would appreciate it, my daughters and I are back from DFW today after taking my husband and their father to meet his plane for deployment to OEF. It is suppose to be a 4 1/2 month tour which is alot less than last time, but it is alot closer to action this time so more unnerving. He is an AF Reserve Capt in the CEs.

Lord God on High,

We do give glory and honor to Your Mighty Name, and we give praise and worship to Your Power. At this time, we seek Your Guidance as this family faces uncertain times ahead. Be with DH, Yahweh, and send hedges of protection to be round about him and those in his company as he serves his country and his lord with courage. We ask humbly for mercy, Father, but we also put our faith in Your Plan, knowing Your Will is perfect and so we sumbit him and the future to it. Be with PH and the family, comfort saddened hearts, strengthen those that do long for his return, and keep them in safety as well, until Your Will is accomplished in this situation. Our grateful hearts, beseech You to shine Your Light of peace into each stray thought, and we also as that the deceiver be bound that he may not affect the hearts and minds of those waiting or those serving. In all reverence, we do ask these things, and it is in the Holy Name of Your Son Jesus Christ, that we submit these things, Amen.

So often if we remember to thank our service men and women, we forget to thank their families, who in my opinion also serve. They keep our soldiers strong. Supporting them daily with correspondance, and care packages etc, not just when they think about it. So...Patriot Heart, thank YOU for your service, thank your family and your DH. I will have all of you in my prayers.

Thanks so much everybody. It means alot to me, especially today (WARNING: WHINE MODE http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/Crying.gif) when I discover at 20:30 tonight Saturday that my big freezer is dead and has been thawing for probably more than 18 hrs. At the same time I don't want to whine, as there are so many facing so much that is worse. Thanks for the prayers they mean so much. Thank you God for the FC family.
