Hello, my dear Freecers.

Just a quick note before I go to Brunswick to meet a friend from Virginia.

The title of my post says it all. I wish I was in Crawford this afternoon to protest the seditious bastards. I would make a special effort to shake hands with that gentleman (I do not know his name) who lost a son in Iraq, but who remains loyal to his country nontheless. I just saw his "camp" on TV. It's mainly dedicated to his son, one of this country's heroes.

I cannot believe that Cindy was so stupid as to allow herself to become a tool of the radical left, the MoveOn et al.

Anyway, God bless her son as well as all our men and women in the military who get in harm's way so that the Cindys and MoveOners can have the freedom to betray the country others die for.

Brenda, are you anywhere near Crawford? I'll check up with you guys when I return from B.

In the meantime, I'll post Ann Coulter's latest column - which I'm sure has already been posted, but it's worth reposting.

I cannot believe that Cindy was so stupid as to allow herself to become a tool of the radical left, the MoveOn et al.IMO, the blathering bitch is fully cooperating with those scum. She's one of them and has been for quite a while. She plays the grieving mother while she defecates on her son's grave and ignores the rest of her family.

For a time, I thought that perhaps she is just an idiot being exploited. Now I believe that she is a cold, calculating wretch that knows exactly what she's doing — milking the death of her son for purely political gain. She has no shame, no morals, no decency and no honor. She's a media slut selling her soul for face time on the evening news.

America desperately needs to be rid of its morbid fixation with the miserable, screeching harpy and her treasonous entourage. Hopefully, the arrival of Al "OPEC-Hair" Sharpton will be the kiss of death for this grand guignol.

Seriously, that's why I posted the link to Ann Coulter's column. I particularly like the part that says:

"If one dead son means no one can win an argument with you, how about two dead sons? What if the person arguing with you is a mother who also lost a son in Iraq and she's pro-war? Do we decide the winner with a coin toss? Or do we see if there's a woman out there who lost two children in Iraq and see what she thinks about the war?"

and

"But now liberals demand that we listen to the same old arguments all over again, not because Sheehan has any new insights, but because she has the ability to repel dissent by citing her grief."

Here in Commie Maine, liberals constantly pout that "it's all very well for the president (yeah, some of them seem to have come to terms with the fact that he IS the president) to send other people's kids to war. It's easy to be a patriot when you have nothing to lose."

That sort of nonsense goes on and on and on. Hearing them, you'd think that Bush sends people to war with the exclusive intent to kill people's kids. That's what I have to put up with daily. And you wonder why I don't want to go into politics anymore. :rolleyes:

What particularly offends me is that she's spitting on the graves of those who died so that she can become a minion of MoveOr, etc. And that includes he own son's grave.
