View Full Version : Cool dream

I had a pretty cool dream.. The first part of it had to do with a ghost, who was finally happy and went back into her painting. That wasn't the cool part though, after that I was on the ground... Everything was black and gray, or green, not sure which now..

And there was this retard trying to pick up a rattle snake, only the snake was just trying to get away.. Until finally it had enough and started to chase this person around, until it came near me. Now that it was irritated I didn't want to mess with him, so I stayed absolutely still on the ground.. It crawled over my leg and dissapeared behind me.. I was paranoid it would get me where I couldn't see it.

This was when I felt something grip my left arm, very hard, and I heard hissing.. At this point I was awake, though maybe still partly in dream world. It was gripping my arm hard, and I felt like I could no longer move it.. I was absolutely terrified, and I could hardly speak. I managed to mutter "I must not fear", what I completely wanted to say was "I must not fear, fear is the mind killer", this I got from the movie Dune lol.

After that I managed to speak "The Lord is my sheild" or something to that effect. It eventually wore off and I was able to get up, though I was very shaky.

I haven't had a dream like that for a long time, pretty cool. The last one was more interesting... Been a few years now, but basically I woke up in my own mind. I could feel the ground, the walls, everything.. Eventually I thought I was stuck in my own head, and I started to freak out, trying to wake up. So I'm in my own head screaming my head off, and eventually I'm able to open my eyes, but they close and I'm back in the dream!

And so I kept screaming, and eventually I was able to open my eyes and keep them open. But I was paralyzed, when I moved my arm, I moved only a imaginary arm. After a little bit it wore off, and I was able to move again.

Hill Billy friend of mine claims he has those "real dreams" all of the time.

Uh, ok, that's not cool, dude.

But I do know what you mean. Once I was sleeping in the car, and then I wanted to wake up, but I couldn't. Mentally I was awake, but my body refused to wake up because it was paralyzed. I then started to panic, and I started to choke, because I couldn't open my mouth(or my eyes for that matter). Thankfully, I told myself to calm down and breath through my nose. So, I was safe for the moment(riight).
Then, I tried to move my arms. I tried so hard that it could have been considered a work out. But still, they wouldn't budge. And still, I couldn't open my eyes.

After about 5 minutes of this(it seemed like 15 minutes), something strange happened. It's like I just jumped out of my seat in the car, and I was all better. All my body parts were functional within a second. It was the weirdest thing, and kinda of terrifying.

i just hate the ones where you wake up 2 or three times still within a dream. then when you wake up for real it takes about 10 min just to realize you arent still sleeping

Those aren't so bad, mine are always in a different dimension where things are bad for me, so it is actually a relief to find out "it was all just a dream". And that such and such didn't really happen.

its the wondering if what you are in at the moment is real that gets to me

I have a very vivid dream state. My dreams are like technicolor movies. Usually some small part of my day gets incorporated into my nightdream, and it becomes the focal point or the catalyst for the rest of the dream. The MOST real dream I ever had occurred years after an event where my ex-boyfriend had tried to break into my apartment. That (later) dream consisted of me being in an apartment whose "outer wall" of my apartment was clear glass (see through). I walked into the kitchen to get some milk and something outside the glass wall caught my eye. All of a sudden the glass wall turned into window screen, and there was a mad killer-type person cutting it with a knife, staring at me, stating in a really scary voice, "You're gonna die, b(ad person word)!" I woke up IMMEDIATELY after that in a cold sweat screaming.

MOST of my dreams however, are not nightmares, but wonderful fiction fantasy that I wish I could remember in their totality so I could write them up as novels, LOL.

I once saw Jesus in my dream. I'll never forget it.
My family and I were building a miniture zoo(the animals were like 3 inches high, so the zoo was extremely small) in our yard. One night, we all went down to the zoo to talk about how we should be building it and fixing it up. Anyways we all started arguing about how it should be built. I got really tired of listening, so I took a deep sigh and turned around. Then I looked up at this one particular star and saw Jesus' face smiling at me. He dissappeared right away though. It was the coolest thing ever.

That's sounds scary.

Yeah, many of my dreams are neat fantasy ones. Sometimes I remember them and sometimes I don't. However, there are two or three dreams I plan to write up someday.

I can't remember the last time I had a nightmare. Lucky, I guess.

I can't remember the last time I had a nightmare. Lucky, I guess.Me neither. My most favorite recurring dream as a child was being down in our basement and finding out that there were beautifully furnished rooms that were hidden behind a couple doors. It was as if we had a huge wing that just happened to be downstairs. Then I'd wake up and run down to the basement only to find a musty old place of concrete and spiders.:djd:

Uh I have pretty strange dreams. Lately I have only had dreams about Aliens. They wanted to invade our planet and for some reason I had to kill one of them.. they looked like the Aliens in "Signs" :/
