Tennis: Federer vs. Agassi

I don't know if any of ya'll are tennis fans, but Andre Agassi is playing the match of his life right now. Turn to CBS to watch it.

Agassi(American) is the oldest male in 30+ years to reach a Grand Slam final. Roger Federer(Swiss) is the greatest player in the world right now.

Federer won the first set 6-3. Agassi won the second 6-2, and he leads 2-1 in the third.


Go Agassi!!!!

Way back, I used to like an Argentine gal who played by the name of Gabriella Sabatini. You can see why as a youngster growing up.

So totally NOT TRUE!!!! Tennis is the 4th largest sport in the world. It comes after football, basketball, and then baseball.

Golf is the most boring sport out there, IMO.

I was pulling for Agassi, primarily because the first real 35mm SLR I bought was a Canon Rebel and it's a damn good camera. LOL

No, I think he's a great player and has managed to outlast his competetors from the '90s.

Agassi was winning the last time I looked at the match. Then I saw SportsCenter and got the news. I had hoped that he would win it.

I was glad to see Kim Clijsters was victorious yesterday. I don't care for Maria Sharapova. She can play, but she makes too damn much noise when she hits the ball. Sounds like someone is sitting on her chest when she hits. She's worse than Monica Seles. LOL

Oh my...my oh my...

I do remember her and she was another great one. She played from 1984 to 1996.

Gaby caught my eye, too.

She's 35 now and lives in Florida.
