Not much will keep Cindy Sheehan down. Her husband is divorcing her, her mother had a stroke, and most of the rest of her family thinks she is stomping on her son’s grave. But she’s still going strong, replacing her actual family with the much more sociable aliens-abducted-my-grandparents crowd that turned out in Crawford to lend their wallets, fashion crews, and media teams. Oh wait, I mean to lend their “emotional support” for the “grieving” mother.

Of course, Cindy doesn’t want all of the media attention. She wants to be able to “walk into the supermarket and not be recognized.” I guess this would explain her appearances on "Hardball," "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," "Real Time with Bill Maher," "Good Morning America," and her recently announced anti-war bus tour. She might as well fly to Iraq and pose with some “freedom fighters” on a camel. I’d call her the Jane Fonda of the War on Terror if it weren’t for the fact that Fonda won’t go away, either.

But you have to give it to Cindy for mastering the ability to launch into Susan Sarandon-esque crying tirades on cue. One minute she’s laughing it up with reporters, Martin Sheen, and her adoring fans, and the next she’s weeping graciously in front of a row of crosses with Al Sharpton at her side.The Wicked Witch of the Ditch (http://commonconservative.com/guest05.shtml)

Cindy Sheehan is done for, especially after her demand to meet with Hillary. Huh? Not only is Sheehan done for, the MSM has been fortunate enough to have a major hurricane to report on, therefore allowing them to breathe a sigh of relief while Cindy Sheehan spirals out of control down the Black Hole of Insignificance towards the Event Horizon of No Return. Are you kidding, Sheehan is the perfect poster child of the extreme left of the dim party. She is the best political ad the Republicans have and she's not costing them a dime. I just wish she were to get in the media spotlight during the mid-terms. However, I fear that between two hurricanes and her calling-out Hitlary, her publicity goose is cooked. Stick a fork in it.

Doc, maybe you aren't hearing much about her because the leftist press has done just that - they have figured out how much bad PR she is giving the left... And as such they have swept her under the rug - shoved a sock in her mouth and chained her up in the basement...

Remember when Billy first crash-landed in the Whitehouse? Remember the absolutely looney comments coming out of Hilary's gaping mouth? Remember how the Whitehouse press staff had to put her in a straight jacket and gag her before she became an utter and complete embarrassment to the world (something we already knew of course)...

Sometimes the left leadership realizes that one of their big-mouth croaking frogs has gone too far and they wrap em up and put em in the sock drawer... And they direct the press accordingly...

Why does anyone give her any attention at all... I suspect the only reporters who are still covering her are junior student reporters who are trying desperately to make a name for themselves... The rest of big hitters have moved on to Hurricane coverage or Supreme Court nominations...
