Are you a Democrat, Republican or Southern Republican?
Here is a little test that will help you decide.

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges at you. You are carrying a Glock .40 cal, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

Does the man look poor? Or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him to provoke this attack?

Could we run away?

What does my wife think?

What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?

What does the law say about this situation?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus.

This is ironic; I answered a question similar to this posted on another forum. The question went something like this..

You and your family are walking down a quiet street when a gunman approaches you and forces you all into a dark alley. He tells you that you have two choices,

1) Stay behind and he will shoot you, but he will let your family go free.
2) Run (but knowing that your family will probably all be killed.)

As background, this question was posted on a fairly liberal forum. Anyway, the answers started coming out of the woodwork, "I would run like @#$$ (pathetic coward who must hate their family)", "I would beg for my life and my family's", "I would let the gunman shoot me so that my family could go free (at least this one shows loyalty, but what's to keep the gunman from breaking his word?)

At any rate.. after a few inane answers such as that I had to insert my own two cents, so..

I said this.

Assuming the gunman is able to shoot enough times to incapacitate me before I get my own weapon out..

I would be dead, and the question would be moot.

But if the gunman had been foolish enough to hesitate, thinking I was a liberal gun control advocate and not someone who cherished and embraced his 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms..

He would be dead and I would be dialing 911.

Incidentally, even if he got the drop on me, it's doubtful he would enjoy more than another breath or two before the rest of my family unloaded their own weapons into his body.

I have to admit, my answer was not particularly popular on that forum.
