Four Central Florida middle school students were arrested Monday for allegedly ripping off the clothes off classmates and then snapping photos with their cell phones, according to a Local 6 News report.Investigators said the boys, ages 12, 13 and 14 years old, attacked the girls Friday at Tavares Middle School in Lake County, Fla., in the back of a school bus. The boys then allegedly groped the girls and took pictures of them.

Back in the day (damn I'm sounding old now) bus drivers used to have a tight rein on their bus. Now, thanks to idiotic parents, bus drivers have had their authority taken away and are not allowed to execute their authority because the school might get sued.

Regardless, this should never have happened on school bus. That bus driver should have been paying attention to what is going on in the back of his bus. You can't honestly tell me that the bus driver did not notice the commotion in the back of the bus. There is no way young teens could have done all this in silence.

Hey Doc dont be surprised bout middleschoolers having cellphones, wasnt that long ago when I was driving into town i saw this kid that looked like she was 6 to 8 yrs old riding her little fuschia-colored and pink bike with one hand and cellphone in the other (future car driver with cellphone in-hand).

GRADE school kids have cellphones as well.

I know people who are making sure their young daughters know how to kick some ass. If you have ever watched a 10 year old girl doing martial arts you know you don't want to mess with them. Many of them are better than the boys. I do believe that women should take some sort of class on self defense. There are too many predators out there.

We have one at our house! It hangs on the wall in our kitchen, and yes if needed, will still be used, even on our teenagers, and they know it (which is probably why it now hangs there gathering dust -- there's no need for it, because there's the threat OF it.)

The bus driver needs to be jailed as an accessory for his criminal negligence. Boys will be boys, especially when there is no discipline and they are taught to disrespect the opposite sex by music that calls all girls bitches and whores. These young criminals should be placed in homes where they are SUPERVISED and where exposure to such negative influences are not allowed. This is called sexual assault. It is not a laughing matter, but a criminal act.

When I read that headline, I thought some boys were humiliating (bullying) other boys and not girls. Schools have become accomplices to all sorts of criminality by refusing to step in and discipline these little monsters. Had school officials done their jobs, Columbine would never have happened.
