Anyone else making a series or computer game?

I've finally started to be able to put up my comic series for real. It's only in written form for the moment, but I'll be fixing that around issue ten. (Guess I'll have to make that one a deusy to keep people interested...)

It actaully teaches alot about conservatism and Christianity, though yes, on the surface its just the adventure of three kids and some military buffs trying to fight off an alien invasion.

Some examples.

The MILITIA is constantly called upon to help the heros, not just the police.
I wrote in Micheal Reagan's son (its 2050, the original will be long dead) as the only member of the media, not desperate to find ways to trash the heros.
Talks often about people contributing what they can, instead of always leaving things up to hero's and athorities.
I'm thinking about making an anti abortion comic, were Jase confronts and doctor wanting to abort his potential baby brother (messing with Jase's friend... not a good idea!)
There is forgiveness for ALL sins, even murder.
Jesus is Lord, above all, even the most powerful of men.
Miracles do happen.

I'm also designing a game, again some of our beliefs are expressed.

Out of the five militaries competeing, the Republic is the strongest, and the long standing empire is the weakest and least likely to win. (The new born empire is only ahead by circumstance.)
The most powerful nation in the competition, The Republic of Choron, is a militia, and often attempts to arm citizens of areas they invade to help their cause, instead of just trying to be heros.
Relitivism is the main belief system being fought, save for Tri-Star, the evil empire trying to enforce it.
The Rebulic of Choron's goal is not only to destroy its enemies, but to build back up the peoples they defeat, as compotent nations, not just leaving them to fend for themselves and probably go back to how they were.

PatriotAmerican, you said something about a game....

Wouldn't hurt to have some good guys.

Anyway, very well thought out. The world's in my game are supposed to be fleshed out mostly by the comic series, a complete description would ruin the series. (I fear even the descrition I have up now ruins much of the suspence and questions.)

On to my first point, it really does seem like your world lacks any side that could be considered good guys. They all act like nut job extremest or elitist, only looking out for narrow minded ideologies or their own interests. I don't know how many other people feel this way, that that kinda ruins things for me. We all like a chioce, but I personally would like a good one along with all the bad ones.

Any comments on my game?

Sounds like ya'll are develping some interesting games. PA, I clicked on your link, but it didn't work for some reason.
BlackP, do you have any link, or can you post some pics of the game?

I'd be willing to help if I can, even though I don't know much. But I would be willing to learn cuz I've always wanted to get into game-making as well.

Guess I need to think ahead a little better. The link to my comic series is right in my sig, but not everyone really reads those so, here it is
http://www.freewebs.com/phantomwolf/
The game is pretty easy to find from the front page, but just to be obvious
http://www.freewebs.com/phantomwolf/thegame.htm

PA's link isn't working for me either, but internet explorer provided me with a link to eboncourt's homepage where his up coming game is rather proudly displayed:
http://www.eboncourtent.com/
and just incase it stops being hilighted, here's the site
http://www.eboncourtent.com/game.html

(Thought I'd be nice and do him a favor on this one!)

Oh goodness, when the title said "writing," I thought it meant on paper. The last thing I wrote was "Ode to a Cubical" today. I will probably crash my computer checking out techi game writings but I find that incredibly talented :)

I fixed the link to my site. http://www.eboncourtent.com/game.html

My game is meant to have extreme groups in it. But if a player wants to create a "benevolent" group, it is possible. In fact, I am developing the game so the actions of the characters under your control influences and changes the state of the floating city that they are fighting for control over.
