Watchyerass Kevin Bacon. This ain't rural Oklahoma. This time the nuns have guns.

According to The Times, Zahar also supports the enforcement of a strict interpretation of Islam, and backed the decision of a Hamas-led council to ban a dance festival. “A man holds a woman by the hand and dances with her in front of everyone. Does that serve the national interest?” Zahar said.

Does this mean Hamas will ban jubilant dancing in the streets when there's a terrorist attack?

Oyea if these nay-sayers had their way they'd prolly ban smiling as well.

Cant be happy no?

The car swarm line dance jig won't be banned in that it is part of their national anthem, followed by a couple sticks of TNT and a chorus of 'allah akbhaaaaaar' as they all salute 72 whores with their right hand over their heart.

The palisimians deserve a state, a state controlled by the very control freaks they have idolized all these years. So they have asked, so be it. No dancing, no beef jerkey, no comic books, no copulation on Sundays, Fridays and every other Ramadan and no kazoos. Definitely no kazoos.

Whatever the bearded guy with underwear on his teakettle says. They want their freedom, let's let them have it. Remove the 'occupation'. Let them have occupation cubed.

So would they call that the "Hamacide jig"?

Yet another reason to bomb the Palestinians out of existence. I'm not cold hearted tho, I'll give the women and children 24 hours to move to Egypt or Syria.

damn no more macarena! If this led to the banning of this vile contemptable pretense at "dancing", I may be tempted to agree with Hamas.

Dancing serves no useful purpose in society, but blowing oneself up along with innocent others makes for a useful society? Hamasses sure have skewed priorities.

Huh? No dancing? Hey Muslims, music and dancing are a natural part of being a human. Whoops! I have a feeling that most Muslims would like to sing and dance but Islamic assholes won't let them, according to their stone age teachings. Join the modern era!

Is this one of those countries who have so many more "freedoms" than us, that EE mentioned? yeah okay.

I can't imagine these people have anything to be dancing about even, given the restrictions and actual banning of everything else normal in their lives. This is why Islam can only be considered a cult. Any other sane person of a "religion" would break away from something so abnormal and backwards. But these people stay true. Amazing!

Any other sane person of a "religion" would break away from something so abnormal and backwards. But these people stay true. Amazing!Bukhari Hadith, 4.260:
Narrated 'Ikrima:
'Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' "

That's a strong disincentive. And it's still done in Islamocracies.

Um, Wyatt, yer link - Gay Middle East?

Please tell me this is a joke:

Security upon entry and exit from Israel is strict, tight and quite efficient [emphases mine]. Especially if you tell the border authorities that you are planning to visit Palestine, you can expect to be asked many questions; sometimes the same questions two and three times by various security officers. GME endorses telling the truth, but…you may shorten your time with the Israelis by simply not mentioning to them that you are on your way to Palestine Tell them you heard about the accommodations through Wyatt's link. That's when the security gets really tight. And strict! No extra charge for whips and chains! And as for quite efficient? Whoo-wee! You can get steamed and reamed right there in one of those Turkish-style bathhouses like the ones that line the streets of Al-San-Fran-Mohammad-Disco-Cisco.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to ask. Wyatt, what's up with that?

Since I can't dance anyway, this wouldn't really affect me. But I repeat what Rink asked, does this mean that they can no longer dance in the street after blowing something up? THAT is fine with me!
