just wondering how everyone else is doing with their investments

i am taking a hit, this past year lost a full third of my total investments (not including bonds)
i am into individual high risk tech stocks, so i guess it is to be expected. with the biggest futures come the biggest risks. (plus i can afford to lose everything due to the years still ahead of me)

though i think my RFID companies will pull me into the green in the next few years

my only two winners have been sirius radio and smart tire

Hmmm, I try to only actively watch the "play" money I have out there (aka, the non-retirement, long term holding accounts). I have seen worse than this (of course), but my own company's stock has taken a tumble lately. That doesn't remotely scare me, but I spend all day answering questions as to why?? Lol..so many reasons.

Lot of people losing their asses on Delphi and pretty much losing 50% of their investment on the GM bonds. They should at least get out now before there are no buyers for these things.

Still having trouble even contemplating getting into Google, at least until they split (whenever that will happen). There has to be a point of diminishing returns and I believe that google is hitting it over and over again and not getting much beyond it.

Sheesh I look at this stuff all day..i will stop going on and on randomly

Mine is low-risk and not doing so well. I'm thinking of going higher-risk....

Oh gosh, Apple?

I will refrain from giving my opinion regarding that stock right now.

Some of the financials are doing okay so far (not banks though) and some oil companies. Wellpoint, Altria...hmmm

Apple, Dell, Yahoo..don't impress me enough to buy into them now.

Well, it might just surge after video iPod, providing it's not a tough sell.

dP just likes to give me a hard time since I'm a Mac geek. ;) :boxer:

I shorted GM. It was worth it.

Just don't try to sell me a share of google now. Too reminiscent of 2000 when some of the techies were up in that range (inflation adjusted of course) and now are at $3 a share.

Imagine getting a couple hundred shares when it IPO'd though. I would have lost a lot of potential gain as I would have sold when it was around 310.

My funds have seen some losses in the last few months - maybe 4-5% of my total portfolio value. PDCO has hurt me, dropping from a high near $54 to just over $39.
