http://www.axisofweasels.com/germany.html :
Germany is a girlfriend we would all like back. We might even give her France. ;-)

rofl.. no thank you I don't like the French. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif
and maybe this is a good sign to our bf :
At the state regional elections where i live (state: bavaria) the conservative party (CSU) won with 60,7% in front of the socialists (SPD = the party our cancellor is from) who were cleaning the floor with poor 19,6% and the hippies aka. "Grüne" with 7,7 % who have an ally with the SPD.
The other parties didnt even make it into the parliament of our state. Like e.g. the FDP (=liberals) with 2,6%. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif))
Our state is the best running state in Germany. We have the best educational standard and the lowest crime rate in our capitol "Munich". While all the other states - which are almost totally or 50% ruled by socialists/liberals/hippies w/e are not able to get rid of their problems.
http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon119.gif
E.g. our state fought for not letting gays marry. But the whole state was against us.. so we fought to at least not let them do it like other couples but therefor they can get some paperwork they can pick up so they are like in a relationship that's almost like marriage. But not even that went through the german courts. They just tell us we are stuck in their sense of evolution. Well what they seem to not remark is that almost everything they use, eat, drink (beer) is produced either by companies whose leaders studied/came from bavaria or by companies that are actually IN Bavaria.
http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon119.gif
They also moaned about our state to not be nice to immegrants etc. which is so untrue, they just said that because this one Turkish boy in 1997 or something made all this trouble in Munich and one of our state courts decided that he has to leave Germany and go back to Turky. Where he is living now, fighting to get to come back here. What noone of these liberals / socialists remarked was that this guy beated up over 100 Germans/other immagrants and women and stole stuff, damaged cars, stole cars, and wouldnt even see that he is wrong. We were allowed to make sure he leaves. But that was only possible because our state is ruled by the CDU/CSU who are conservative and care about our country and not about fake senseless diplomacy with Turky.
Ok now i went a bit far in that lol oh well..
Well anyways I love Edmund Stoibers ideas. (leader of the CSU in Bavaria and CDU)
This is a pic of him when he visited G.W.Bush and half Germany moaned about Stoiber to be a traitor..which is so typical for those liberal fools.

Thanks for the update, kathrin. The dividing line between libs and conservatives is reality -- conservatives see that something doesn't work and they stow it and try something else. Libs fall in love with an idea of how they want something to be, and keep shooting for it whether the facts argue against it or not. Reality doesn't interfere with their, uh, thinking.
Looks like libs are the same everywhere: An international conspiracy against reality.

Look, I do agree with some things libs say. But the problem is..they talk a lot and promise a lot that sounds good but they can't even make 15% of it work out the way it was promised.
Here in Germany they now rised the taxes like crazy while since we have the EURO everything gets more and more expensive anyways.
Stuff that used to cost 100 DM now costs 100 EUROS which is a price increase of almost 50%. (1 DM = 1,95583 Euros)
Yet our countrys government denies that it's like that and blame it on the international market. This whole EU-shit annoys me anyways. Instead of wanting a "United Europe" they actually just picked special countries who aren't even able to cooperate without actually one of them turning into a complete "brownnoser". :/
When there was this big flood in Germany we were facing this joke called EU again. Instead of helping the country who pays like the most into the EU fond than anyone else, they were refusing to help. But as soon as they see some third world country being in trouble and see a financial advantage out of it the EU (incl. Germany) jumps up like someone poked them with a needle in their butts.
And Bavaria always stands out as the CSU/CDU always wants to keep help in dimensions we can overview and which make sense. But our cancellor always thinks he can gain some political / financial advantage out of it rising our taxes to help other people while his own folk is facing the biggest unemployment-rate we ever had after WW2.
And then they moan about Germans emmigrating. Well duh.. if someone who finished his university with great grades faces unemployment in his country while Germany asks for indians to immigrate here with actually stupid working-conditions then he has to search for somewhere else.
Anyways. I guess this is not the right forum for this lol and actually i even think taht most of you guys probably wont care too much about Germanys/EUs crap. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon129.gif
So I will stop going further into the topic now lol I'm simply disappointed of the state I work for. :/ I'm studying law (incl. EU law) for a whole year now and I am really getting frustrated of how wrong this whole thing works. :/

I'M interested, kathrin, and I think others are. You're proving what many of us here predicted before Euro-ization -- just a bigger money pot for the socialist elite to steal from in one way and another, while those who pay for it all go slowly down the financial drain.
