I help produce a cable access television show in Buffalo, NY. We are into promoting independant music from around the country, sometimes international. Check out my website: http://www.brrtv.com
If you have a broadcast quality video, send it on over.
This has been a public service message for the betterment of music in a free society, thankyou for your attention /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nudge.gif

I actually teach and play percussion (drums and such, not piano). Do you want my list of what I can play??

My brother is the lead for a Christian based rock band. he writes all of the lyrics and music. He and his band are extremelly talented. I am so proud of them. I'll try to get a good tape of their next performance. They had to take a hiatus due to their drummer having health problems. I am their photographer, so I have plenty of pics on hand, and some sample music of theirs on my computer. They are working on a new recording, and when it gets completed, i'll put it on a site so you can hear it. Truly amazing stuff. Sends chills down me and it's the kind of stuff that makes you think.
We don't go to an "organized" church. No, that does not mean I don't agree with it or believe in it. I really do. The reason we don't is that we were raised in a very strict fundamentalist Baptist church. Nothing wrong with that (well, some but I won't go there). My dad was an "upstanding" citizen in the church and was very well respected. But at home he was another story. I could go on and on, but that's a whole other thread. Anyway, when the church found out, they backed him up and pushed me and my brother out the door.
So, we have our own church now. We try to get together at least once a week for Bible reading and praying and just talking about all the good things God has done for us. My brother is truly an inspiration to me. He's my hero here on earth. http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Once again i go off topic and hijack a thread..lol. sorry

I have a brother in Nantucket, Mass, that has his own band and is quite good. He really needs to be "discovered."
I was a singer and played the sax years back but the sax is long gone now. My wife says I can still sing very well. Ah well. My brother is the musician.

I know all the lyrics to several hundred songs. Duzzat count? And I cover a broad swatch of styles 'n' moods:
Jesus Loves Me
Happy Birthday to You
99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall
etc.

I've been writing music for around 11 years now.
I write for computer games when I can due to the freedom of writing I enjoy so much.
I can write just about anything someone could need, aside from Bob Marley crap, but that is a personal choice.

I like to squirt lighter fluid on my axe while its still plugged in to my Fender amp and then torch her, and listen to the pickups scream, pop and hiss.
The problem with Jimi Hendrix is that he never made smores on stage.

Hendrix was a campfire girl at heart. Never made the grade.
It would have been cool though, if, after torching his Les Paul, he busted out the Ballpark Franks onstage and roasted a few.
That would have been touching.

Hendrix was one of the best guitarists I've ever listened to.
The Experience was revolutionary for the 1960's!

Hendrix was great, Stevie Ray Vaughn was another good one. I've been meaning to re-take the Acoustic Guitar that's been sitting in my closet for some time. Maybe a new (old) hobby is in order.
