The German made (century old) Keim mineral paints are engineered for durability & longevity. Their liquid-mineral application bonds potassium silicate with the building's mineral substrate.....they resist UV and moisture corrosion and remain color true for over 100 years.

Indoor Murals - Miller Brewery

When working indoors, the environment is typically not as harsh and one could conceivably use large format digital reproductions to create a life-like mural. However, if the indoor location is exposed to humidity, UV or airborne vapors/chemicals, digital reproductions will begin to deteriorate rather quickly. The murals below are painted in oil on a DibondŽ aluminum com backing and are overcoated to protect from the chemical and physical abuse of day to day activity.

That's magnificent! But I wonder how long it will take for the spraycan Michelangelos to deface them.

Can you imagine the penalty for defacing something that valuable?

Awesome. My first thoughts were exactly what Doc said: grafitti.

Fox I don't think anyone has ever destroyed any of his murals so I'd rather talk about their beauty. This man is really talented. I wonder how much he charges for a mural the size of the first one? It has to be in the hundreds of thousands.

Okay, I want to paint like THAT!

Unfortunately, all my people come out looking like caricatures (large heads, tiny bodies, features exaggerated) :smirky: . Guess I'm just BOUND to be a cartoonist, LOL.

Those are simply breathtaking! I am in complete awe of the talent and craftsmanship -- Bravo! :claps:

DOC that is incredible. I'm going to check out his website. Breathtaking. How does one see that through their eyes then transfer it with their hands to canvas or whatever medium they have?

Warlady, because they have ultimate control of their "mind's eye." I am certainly no artist of the caliber evidenced by these works, but even in the modest talents the Lord has so gracious bestowed upon me, there is a deep well within, like a spring of sparkling, clear pure water. Sometimes I can reach it, and sometimes I can't -- when I can, I baffle even myself with what comes out. That was the problem I had taking art classes though -- there were days, I just "couldn't" create/draw/paint. Try explaining that to an Art Instructor with a deadline, LOL.

I am absolutely in awe of the talents portrayed here. To look upon these works fills me with a joy and uplift. In MY "mind's eye" I see hands working to add miniscule strokes, and wide line, and I "see" how they did it. I just wish I could create it, like they do http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/icon7.gif.

Beyond awesome. I've seen the inside of the Sistine Chapel. This guy may not quite be Michelangelo yet, but he most definitely gives him a run for his money. It's only taken five-hundred years for another one to walk among us.

Absoluetly stunning. Thank God for such talent. May the artist live a long, happy and prolific life. Mankind needs him desperately. His work makes the spirit soar just to see it on a monitor - what it must be like to see it "live"!

I can only imagine. I'm sure a photo does not do his work justice.

There's no possible way it could, not something of that scale.

WOW!

Thanks to you and Sonar for bringing that to us. I sent it to my mom and a few others.

LOL Prez, that was exactly what crossed my mind. I can see myself driving under those "bridges."

WOW! Guys, thank you so much for sharing this. I've never seen the likes of it.
