in 1976 and Jimmy Carter was running on a pro-life platform and Gerald RINO Ford was running a Ultra-Liberal pro-abortion platform and who won ? carter did , with 50% of the popular vote also . Ronald Reagan had tried to beat out that RINO ford but failed due to the fact the GOP was once the home to MANY LIBERALS reagan was defeated . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._presidential_election%2C_1976

in 1980 the GOP kicked the LIBERALS out of its party and it was all ready for Ronald reagan and he won and won again . in 1984 he had almost 60% of the popular vote and he was pro-life ..thus america is pro-life . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._presidential_election%2C_1984

in 2008 hillary and Rudy appear to be the choices picked by the media and the election may look very much like the 1992 election that gave hillarys husband the win . if the GOP fails to deliver a Conservative candiate and chooses some LIBERAL like : guilianni , Rice , mccaine and pataki then we can expect the Democrats to Win .

note: guilianni running against hillary makes hillary look moderate .

my message is to the GOP : NO RINOs !

GHWB went Rino and raised taxes and he lost in 1992 , this is what happens when RINOS run for Pres .

I will not vote for Rudy or McCain, however nothing in my being would EVER allow me to vote for Hillary.

The 'Pubs better be working behind the scenes to recruit a REAL Conservative ... anything less (remember Miers), will NOT be acceptable.

I doubt that the American people will be stupid enough to vote in such a way that would elect a Democrat president anytime in this decade.

The only name that I like for the GOP at this point is Tancredo. Beyond that, I would have to vote Constitutionalist.

 If W can appoint enough pro-life justices to the Supreme Court (& stop horsing around with appointments like Harriet Miers), then abortion will cease to be an issue. Two more ought to do it. If that happens, I'd reconsider voting for Giuliani.

:um: But then, if abortion ceases to be an issue, then Giuliani will probably cease to be a darling of the media.
