View Full Version : What's the stupidest liberal slogan?

When I talk about stupid liberal slogans, I'm not talking about chants ("Hey-hey, ho-ho! George Bush has got to go!"). I'm talking about things that are repeated so often that they are taken as gospel, when in fact there is no valid reason for thinking they're true.

My "favorite" is "Nobody died when Clinton lied." In fact, it could be argued that many did die because of Clinton's lies, especially when he started military actions to take sex scandals off the front pages of the Washington Post and N.Y. Times.

"Character matters". "Can't we just move on?"...unless it's a Republican.

"Bush lied," "It's all Bush's fault."

 "Keep abortion safe & legal." Liberals consistently resist any regulation of abortion chambers, even laws intended to protect women having abortions. They also ignore the fact that more women have died annually from abortions since 1973, than before. In so doing, they belie the "safe" part of their pathetic mantra.

The often used liberal stupidity of "it takes a village" is particularly annoying.

It could easily be argued that nearly 3,000 people died on 9/11 because BJ Clinton lied. After all, while he was doing all that lying, he turned down 3 offers to turn Osama bin Laden over to American authorities.

Its her right to choose. Its her body.

And so the argument goes...

 "Keep abortion safe & legal."Actually, you left out the third portion of the quote, which is the most outrageous. Leftists from Bill Clinton to John Kerry want abortion to be "safe, legal and rare", but then oppose every single effort to make abortion more "rare", from parental notification/consent to limits on late term abortion. Some Leftists (like Indiana's own Julia Carson) even opposed the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which prohibits killing a baby after he/she is born. (Carson voted against the BAIPA.) I wish conservatives would call them on this every time they say it. (And I specifically mean conservative candidates & campaigns.)

I like when the Liberal Elite say "I don't need my taxes cut."
I wonder how many Volunteer to give more in taxes?

Chelsea Clinton in NYC on 9/11. ' I'll bet Bush's tax cut caused this.' 'It's for the children', Hitlery's favorite chant, especially against gun-control.

What is the stupidest liberal slogan?

Oh, mercy. Where does one begin?

Just look at their bumper stickers (which can aptly be abbreviated as BS). That's all their "arguments" amount to, anyway.

Living as I do, in Occupied Maine, I see a lot of those around. Here are some examples:

"When Clinton lied, nobody died." Which exposes liberals for the hypocrites they are. You can lie like a rug, as long as you are a dem. According to the UN, about 500 people died because of Clinton's lies. Then again, they were foreigners, so they don't count. So much for liberals' claim to "non-discrimination."

"The Emperor has no brains." A pointless bastardization of the Emperor's New Clothes, which, incidentally, describes liberals to a T.

"If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child." A moot point seeing as how if they make their "choice," there would be no child to trust them with.

"Do random acts of kindness." Just random, mind. Why bother to be kind intentionally and/or continually?

"Attack Iraq? NO!" Of course not. Better to let Iraq attack us. We had it coming, anyway.

"Question reality." Explains a lot. No comment necessary.

"Why be normal?" See above.

"Question authority." But only if it's conservative or religious authority.

"Dean."

"Kucinich." Oh, yeah. A lot of those still around here. Also explains a lot.

And then, of course, there are all the howlers liberals came up with to justify and excuse the most corrupt president in the history of the USA.

1) "It does not rise to an impeachable offense." Oh, of course not. Clinton's perjury under oath, on national TV, to hide his sexual dalliances, deserves just a slap on the hand. But Bush defending the country - with almost unanimous consent from CONgress - based on exactly the same information his predecessor had, is an "impeachable offense."

2) "It's just sex." Funny how liberals never applied that elastic concept to Clarence Thomas.

3) "Everybody does it." See above.

4) "The Consitution is a living, breathing document." That's why liberals are so bent on killing those parts of the Consitution they do not agree with, at the same time they, ah, "breathe into it" things that were never there, but that help forward liberal agenda.

That's it, off the top of my head. Give me more time, and I'll come back with more.

 I was just going by those obnoxious round, blue & white signs they carry at their rallies. But, you're right about the non-rarity of abortions. And Planned Parenthood & their allies have no intention of making them rare, since PP makes a financial killing by performing them.

Excellenty point !!
(or was W telling BJ to turn the offers down ? )

lately , I'd offer "GOP operative" in referring to Abramoff ....

lobbyist , for the most part give more money to the party in power ...65/35 split goesn't make him an "Operative" ..... 90/10 would ....

:smirky: That's because he didn't do anything wrong. Anita Hill lied. Please find a better example.

It is a good example. I was being sarcastic.

Anita Hill lied, but liberals gave her a free pass because she was a liberal, going after a conservative. Just like they gave Blowjob Bubba a free pass for the same reason.

OTOH, librals accused Thomas of lying, just like they accused Bush of lying, although both told the truth.

Even if Hill told the truth, she never accused Thomas of anything other than some crude remarks.

Actually, "Who put pubic hair on my Coke?" would indicate something about the poor hygiene of the folks hired to stock the vending machines where he bought the soda pop, IMHO.

Well, if Thomas had been a liberal, he still would have been given a free pass. That's the only point I'm trying to make.

Can we stop trying to find the fly in the ointment, now.

"I did not vote for him."

wish I had one that said, "Stop confusing the right to dissent/protest with the act of dissenting/protesting.

Peach, you poor dear, I thought Occupied Maine had the monopoly on dumb bstickers, but I see that wherever you live puts us to shame.

I forgot "No war for oil." That one is a fave here, too.

Oh, and the other day I saw this one: "Clinton to the White House ... Again! Vote Hillary in 2008" It gave me the creeps.

I'm always amused to see "Impeach Bush" or "Kerry '04" or the like on a bumper sticker on a rusty old Volvo. I don't know if the sticker reflects the driver's or owner's political views, or if it's simply there to keep the rustbucket from falling apart.

Actually those are the ones I remember from Chicago and Atlanta. I live in a red state but a blue county so it's pretty conservative locally. It's very strange-- sticks out like a sore thumb!

Not a slogan, because the ones I have seen are already mentioned (I will see a stupid one on the way to work tomorrow I am sure..I will report it..LOL)

Stupidest liberal word=progressive. Nothing about this folks is progressive. They think that the sky is falling upon this country and instead of answers to their made-up problems, they blame the President. They block every move the administration tries to make, even if it is one they would normally agree with, just because they can! What kind of progress is that?

The local "free preschool/kindergarten" around here is now called "Progressive Learning School" though, maybe that is the word of the century for anyone ashamed of other words.

You'll note that Al Gore, Sandy Berger, and pals don't take that view when it comes to the "T" word (treason). They like the strict wording of Article III, Section 3 just fine in that case. (I think it still applies to them).

Saw some more odious bumper stickers:

"Don't pray in my school and I won't think in your church"
"Defend America, Defeat Bush"
