Rush (as always) hits right on the mark... The Libs dont really care about abortion - But they THINK it is the issue that will stir other libs to action...

In truth, they are terrified that they are about to lose the last bastion of liberal control they have in the government... The majority of the public has rejected their agenda and have sent Conservatives to the White House and the Congress... So the Executive and Legistlative branches are clearly in the Right-wing camp...

But up till now the Libs have still retained the majority control in the High Court, and thru it (and the other federal courts) they intend to bypass the legistlative route and force-feed their agenda to the American public - Screw the will of the people... Since when did Communism ever concern itself with the will of the people?...

Only Scalia, Thomas, and Renquist were the full time, depandable conservative voices on the court... Kennedy and O'Connor would swing one way or the other at any given moment... All other justices were firmly in the liberal camp... That gives the court an overall list to the Port side... With the confirmation of Roberts, the balance remained the same - 3 to the right, 4 to the left, and 2 blowing with the wind...

BUT with Alito on the court, it takes on a new image... Four conservatives, four liberals, and one swing vote... Now in any objective person's book that is an evenly balanced court... But evenness and fairness is NOT found in the Leftists playbook... They are not satisfied unless they hold a clear unquestioned control of the court... Thus, Alito is the big threat...

And God forbid the hand of God should remove one of the liberal justices "prematurely"... By prematurely I mean while Bush is still in office... That would be disaster beyond imagination to the liberal mind...
