Eight years? Quite impressive for Hollywood.

She outgrew him like a bad shirt.

She probably wanted the 'Lowe' name on her resume early on when she was still waitressin' tables at the Malibu Inn.

Now she can bury him and his pedophile brother at the box office 100X over.

Hilary Who? Chad Who? And who gives a schitte?Me too, Doc... I think you and I are getting old, bro... These are apparently just two more insignificant Hollywood-star-wanna-bes who have thankfully not cracked the culture barrier of the Lazarus domain...

I can't remember which of our venerable members it is that always responds to threads like this with his customary laconic manner, so I'm going to put on his persona for a moment:

After I read the alarming news, I put down the newspaper, got up for some more coffee, and stirred in a teaspoon of sugar and added a little cream (not too much, though, because I like mine strong). Then I went to the bathroom and took a satisfying dump which I followed up with a fart that was heard three doors down, according to the apartment superintendent. After I washed my hands with soap and water (I always prefer the lavendar-scented stuff - it smells so much nicer), I took out some bacon and eggs and turned on the stove and. . .

You get the idea.

Tough time?

1) They are faily good looking.
2) Millionares.
3) famous.
4) Probably own a beautiful expensive huge house.
5) Have at least 3 vehicles to chose from.

I would think their "tough time" is our heaven!

Just another failed hollywood couple despite having everything they need at their finger tips.

6) They can eat anything they want.

7) They are living proof that money can't buy happiness, and that stuff will never satisfy the soul.

Guess my Christmas Card list just got one address shorter. It's a shame - we need a national day of mourning.

Seems these 'Hollywood stars' cant seem to stay married for very long at all, run from one partner to another, never happy, never satisfied, toking, smoking, and shooting up, splurging their millions on garbage and trying to run the rest of us regular Normal American Citizens how to live our lives according to their lofty high-and-mighty viewpoints and wisdom (when they cant even run their own lives right for cryin-in-the-soup!)

I still think it's a shame whenever any married couple quits. I tend to suspect that the same kind of hollywood folks who poo poo traditional marriage, and advocate gay marriage on the basis that heterosexual marriages end in divorce at such a high rate...are the same ones who drive the divorce rate up. Think about it..they are the ones with no regard for traditional marriage, if most of their pals are jumping into bed with one another quitting their marriages, it makes sense that they'd be so indifferent to protecting what they themselves ignore.
Anyway..like I said..it's a shame when any couple quits a marriage, regardless who they are and whether or not I like them or know them.

I agree with Trev... they sure lasted longer than most Hollywood couplings.

It's called Serial Monogamy™.

I'll never understand that, honestly, tying the knot means true fidelity, period, I have no want for anyone else but the one I chose, My eyes are for him only, I just cannot understand that kind of thing, truly I cant.

Maybe I wuz born on another planet or something because my values and ideals are so vastly different from todays modern cultural 'values' its not funny.

I mean, nobody's perfect but still... I just dont think I'll ever understand something like that 'serial monogamy' thing.
