Utah Robbery Caught on Tape

In Orem, Utah, a woman got the best of a would-be robber. She's all right, he's in jail, and the whole thing was caught on video, reports Kathryn May of CBS station KUTV.

The way he was manhandling her it looked as if he was entertaining the thought of raping her.

The point is this guy is going to use "need" as his defense. Where it should be tossed out of court, I'm not sure that it would be.

When I was carjacked a few years ago, it was the same defense. He needed my car (as well as others) to sell in mexico to get money to start a family business.

If it isn't already, how long will it be before there is an accepted defense of "need". And, how long will it be, if it isn't already, before the woman who was brutalized is called a racist nazi for not immediately meeting his need.

It isn't as farfetched or outlandish as you might imagine.

O he wont be hurt in prison man, he's Hispanic, he's one of the 'Privileged-class', the special people who has MORE rights than the average white American citizen.
