Any of you fellow geeks out there know of a freeware utility I can use to search for and create reports on the status of files on networks drives and shares based on any attribute I choose, such as created, modified, older than, newer than, etc? Windows Explorer doesn't cut the mustard for that. I've tried a few freeware utilities so far, and can get much of it from different utilities, but a single package to do all would be great.

No takers, apparently. And since my two machines are standalones, I'll be no help. Have you checked Download.com (http://www.download.com/) for what's available? They have a pretty good selection of freeware/shareware proggies for almost anything.

Yeah. That's where I got some of what I have now. Guess we may have to buy something. I'll keep searching for now, though.

Thanks, but very little of that stuff is freeware, and I've already tried some of it that is. None of it fits the bill.
