Teenager

It doesn't do anything... it's just a glitch I found.

Just to make sure you're seeing the same thing as me, it is grey, right?

Melz

Yes that looks gray. The word is GRAY..lol.

I am so confused as to what I was sposed to be seeing though.

You must have a different skin color than I do. But if you click it, it appears to be a massive button getting pushed, does it not?

I clicked over it, it "greened" it. Like it highlights things, my highlight is a greenish thing. It did that.

It highlighted it in my choice of Windows highlight colors.

I missed something it seems..wah

I can do all kinds of funky stuff...

See, now my signature is above instead of below...<CAPTION>

Or, I can suddenly create a new cute little button down box like this....
Or make my sig center instead....

Okay, the one where you said your sig is above and not below, I see no sig at all in that post, just two sentences. Your "drop downs" have nothing in them but they do drop down.

My computer must have everything blockaded.

Mebbe it only effects my computer? Are you sure there's not TWO sig above post #9?

There are no sigs on Post #9 dear. There are two sentences. And this is my home computer, so it is not blocked by weird work computer things.

Don't know. Perhaps my home computer prefers to keep it simple in the hopes that I don't fry it like I did to my last 2 computers..which is a good decision!!!

Actually both "gray" and "grey (http://www.merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?sourceid=Mozilla-search&va=grey)" are correct spellings. I prefer "grey" but it doesn't matter and both are equally acceptable.

Or make my sig center instead....Or we could delete your signature entirely.

Seriously though, it would probably be best if you did not 'advertise' any 'glitches' you discover. There are those out there who would be more than happy to use them to disrupt or even crash the board.

LOL!!

Ja, ok, I won't advertise(some of them are pretty scary). But I would like to report them. Who should I report them to?

Rhino

I saw them when you were experimenting.

O yeah? Cool. Do you know what the codes look like, though?

Rhino
02-03-2006, 06:53 AM
Yes. We can turn it off if necessary, but we'd rather not do that if we don't have to.

Oh, I see. But why does it do that? Someone told me it might be something to do with parsing...

What is "that"? Be more specific. Do you mean the signature above instead of below? That's a coding sequence thing in the board software. The other stuff is mostly built-in on purpose, but is rarely used, so new idiosynchracies are discovered in it fairly regularly.

Ummm, I guess by "that" I mean by all of the glitches I've found... and especially the scary ones(see my testing center #1, page 2).

I think I know what you mean now.

We're about to change the signature rules anyway. Film at eleven......

Nothing drastic though. And the code permissions will remain intact, unless somebody abuses it.
