WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Washington on Friday condemned caricatures in European newspapers of the Prophet Mohammad, siding with Muslims who are outraged that the publications put press freedom over respect for religion.

By inserting itself into a dispute that has become a lightning rod for anti-European sentiment across the Muslim world, the United States could help its own battered image among Muslims.

I don't think that nukes would be necessary if we end up having to "take" the oil (no reason to destroy the wells and contaminate everything), but a large-scale operation like that would be very expensive, probably not worth the oil that we'll get.

Tell ya what, kid: live a few decades, gain some real-world experience, find out what our enemies are really like, and then come back and ask us questions like that.

One thing you need to know about Islam is that the world is divided into two "houses", Dar al-Islam, the House of Islam, and Dar al-Harb, the House of War. If you are not a Muslim, you are automatically the enemy. Under Islamic rule you as an "infidel" have three options:

1. Convert and become a muslim.
2. Accept Islamic domination, pay the jizya tax, surrender all your rights, and be treated barely better than animals.
3. Die.

China in no way presents the worldwide threat that Islam poses.

Yes, we can afford to challenge them. As to the sale of oil, If they were all united, they might compel us to drill in Alaska no matter the Greenies, We can get along very well without their oil. So far, we have managed to burn their oil while preserving our resources!

If we quit spending our oil $ with them, then we reduce their capability to develop and support more terrorism.

Admittedly, We, as well as the rest of the world must deal with PEAK OIL!
