I like this one.
This cartoon controversy might actually teach liberals to keep their art off my Christ. Fat chance, I know.

If this offends Muslims

how much more should Christians be offended by this

Liberals need to learn to keep their hateful art off religious figures... or religious people will be offended and bad things can happen.

Although many people found this offensive, as far as I know, no one was murdered, and no fatwas (or the equivalent) were issued.
This should be added even tho its not a 'cartoon' it STILL is indicative of Iran

This is a very interesting Thread ~ my b/f's Aunt stayed with us for about ten days ~ trust me, it was the worst possible ten days I've spent in my new home ~ She's a left winged LOON ~
In any case, she was making excuses for the Muslim extremists and stating that they should be very upset that cartoons were depicted of Mohammed ~
I told her quite politely, that there's been a gazillion cartoons of our Christian God and I didn't see any Christians out there killing or beheading those that took their artistic abilities to that length ~ I personally don't find anything wrong with cartoonists, but if it's vile, then of course, I would. However, nothing and I do mean absolutely nothing justifies killing another because of a cartoon ~
She then told me that there were NEVER any cartoons made of the Christian God ~
I'm trying to search the Net to find some caricatures of God so I can email them to her ~ I'd almost love to spam her with them LOL ~

Cox and Forkum always have the best cartoons. Michael Savage and Sean Hannity have some good cartoons on their sites.

Amen, bro. Maybe it's getting to be high time to do the Crusades all over again, only with more powerful weapons this time. If Islam wants a fight, this is probably as good a time as any to give 'em one.

No, religious people, both Muslims and Christians need to recognize freedom of the press and of speech. Offended? Too f-ing bad. Not a day goes by that something on the news or in the paper doesn't offend me, but I don't go rioting about it. Simply because its of a religious nature isn't some excuse to act like uncontrolled animals.
Don't like it? Don't read it.

That's ridiculous - with freedom comes responsibility in how you use that freedom. You can't shout fire in a crowded movie house and mocking someone's God for no good reason other then because you like pissing people off is cowardly and it's going to anger people.. sometimes they are going to take that anger out on YOU.
Sure they might be wrong in overreacting to you soaking a representation of their God in urine, and later on they might be real sorry about letting their temper get the best of them, but you're still going to be just as dead.

• "In God We Trust" on coins. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• "Under God" in the PoA. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• Creches in town parks. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• The Ten Commandments in courthouses. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• Prayer in schools. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• Prayer at school football games. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• Prayer at graduation ceremonies. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• Little crosses on town seals. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• People saying "Merry Christmas!" "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• People saying "God bless you!" when you sneeze. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• Tax-funded religious art. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• People opposing the queer agenda. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
• People sharing the Gospel with you. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
The door swings both ways.

First of all you can't falsely yell fire in a crowded movie house because it's a threat to public safety, not because its a free-speech issue.
Secondly, you don't get to decide what does and does not constitute "acceptable" freedom of speech. You sound like some PC liberal attempting to muzzel unpopular speech. Rush Limbaugh and The Weekly Standard pisses people off every day, are you saying it's understandable if some liberal whacks him or the Standard's offices are firebombed?
You seem to be providing some excuse for people to act like maniacs if they get their shorts in a twist over what they read. What happened to "personal responsibility" that's the conservative mantra?

Little crosses on town seals. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
Tax-funded religious art. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
Well these have less to do with offensive behavior and freedom of speech and more to do with the seperation of church and state and where that line falls. Either way, the proper venue to resolve these disagreements does not involve violence, threats or mob-like behaviour.
And I don't think you'd be shrugging your shoulders and saying "too f-ing bad" if it was an Islamic prayer in a US public school or tax-funded satanic art.
People saying "Merry Christmas!" "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
People saying "God bless you!" when you sneeze. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
People opposing the queer agenda. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
People sharing the Gospel with you. "Offended? Too f-ing bad."
The door swings both ways.
On these four you are completely correct, the door does swing both ways and you have the right to say "god bless you" or oppose the gay agenda or share the Gospel without fear of physical reprisals. And if people are offended, you're damn right, too f-ing bad.
