The term "Rockefeller Republican" today sounds somewhat dated, and such Republicans are probably more apt to call themselves "moderate Republicans." The recent usage of the term South Park Republicans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_Republicans) is a term that could describe some Rockefeller Republicans.

in an episode ("Best Friends Forever (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Best_Friends_Forever)") spoofing the Terri Schiavo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terri_Schiavo) case (using Kenny as the Schiavo figure), people on both sides of the battle were shown as acting mostly in their own interests rather than Kenny's (particularly Cartman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartman), who stood for Michael Schiavo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Schiavo)), while Kenny himself was shown as the key leader of a battle against Satan from Heaven. The creators' views apparently came down on the side of the "right to die (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_to_die)" in the end, however, since Kenny needed to stay dead to save all of Existence, and those keeping him alive were shown as unknowingly assisting Satan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satan). Additionally, the demon 'Kevin' (when needing the feeding tube to be reinserted into Kenny), says, "I will do what we always do. Use the Republicans."

They say they are Republicans yet they condemn conservativism and Republican values and one of them endorsed John F-ing Kerry.
They are Posers who think they are republicans and dont realize they are Liberals. Their show shows how sick and gross their minds are.

How come the MSM doesnt call Ben Nelson(D-NE) a moderate ?
Its obvious anyone who is a Liberal and hides behind the Republican label automaticly is called a 'moderate' by the MSM.

People for the American Way are not for the american way.
They are for using the Federal Goverments power to keep abortion legal and they want to push gay marriage into becoming law. They want ban religion from public and private matters.
If the say they are republicans but endorse a Far-Lefty like John Kerry and support Communist Interest groups then what really are they ? Liberals.
