I don't listen to the news much. So recently I heard from a Christian co-worker that Canada's new Prime Minister is a conservative, and may actually be a Christian. Is he? What do we know about him?
I did a quick search and found nothing.
Thanks,
Barry

TORONTO — As the winter sky darkened over City Hall, Michele Schultz and Christina Chora held hands and read their vows.
Standing before them in a long blue robe, Toronto wedding director Lois Code declared, "I do now, by the virtue of the authority vested in me by the province of Ontario, pronounce you legally married."
Schultz, 37, and Chora, 39, have been together 20 years. Same-sex marriage has been legal in Toronto for almost three years and throughout Canada since July. Why tie the knot now? Schultz has a two-word answer: "Stephen Harper."
Harper, sworn in this month as prime minister, is the first Conservative to lead Canada in 13 years. He has pledged to hold a vote in Parliament on overturning Canada's same-sex marriage law, which was approved last year and made Canada the fourth country in the world to legalize gay and lesbian marriage nationwide.
