"James Frey is a writer, OK? He can write about whatever he wants. It's fiction. It's just shameful how he was treated in some of these things." Horseshit. The book was not marketed under fiction. If he had been a New York Times writer (like Janet Cooke), he should have been pilloried just the same.

It should also go without saying that inviting a known adulterer such as Clinton rather undercuts her position as America's arbiter of public morals, or whatever the hell she's passing herself as. And if Tom Cruise had been seen within a mile of MY tv studio, I would have alerted security to pump up the voltage in the tasers, and let him have it but good, then put him back on whatever space ship brought his ass to earth.
