You all are such kidders - I know we have some closet American Idol watchers here. Who are you?

Kellie Pickler wins the cutest competition, hands down.

Though I will admit to nothing, I will say since I just happened to be in my living room as AI was on, that they are kind of boring tonight.

A little more about my favorite gal pic, Parris Bennett. She comes from a good musical background. Her grandma is Ann Nesby

I hope Brenna goes home after that train-wreck tonite.

The mark of a true musician is the natural ability to be yourself and to express to the audience what you are and feel inside through your music. Copycat singers are a dime a dozen.

I'll admit it -- I love music, pretty much all genres (except rap), and you get to hear some amazing stuff, regardless of all the fluff. My picks for top six (girls) are (in no particular order):

Kellie Pickler -- (great performance tonight)
Katharine McPhee -- (good voice, bad song choice)
Paris Bennett -- (what a voice she has!)
Lisa Tucker -- (she's only 16? Wow!)
Melissa McGhee -- (rough & tumble, sultry voice)
Mandisa -- (powerhouse singer, bad song choice)

I hope Brenna goes home after that train-wreck tonite.

I hope her attitude can fit on the plane on the ride home.

Perhaps musicians and people who really enjoy listening to music will find it more interesting than most other people. I know I do, especially since I'm playing the guitar now.

It's a fun show. No politics. Just raw entertainment.

As for Brenna...good gawwwwwwwwwd. I would be shocked if she made it to the next round. She really did stink up the place. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have her around if she could sing, but her problem is that she thinks she's a really good singer, but she's really not.

As Simon said, the title of that song she sang should be changed to "Last Chance." lol

That little one...the one who sang that Bette Midler song, she was good. Kellie was great, I didn't think anyone was really that bad, just Brenna.

I've never heard the song that Mandisa sang. I thought she did a very good job of it. But man is she huge...good thing she can sing. She might be the female Ruben Studdard.

The first girl tonight was playing it safe. I thought she wasn't that great compared to her performance last week. Her bare shoulders are wider than Ryan Seacrest's and Ryan was wearing a jacket. lol

As for the ones who got booted last week, there were no surprises. The only mistake is that Brenna didn't get that boot, too.

There are lots of copycat singers and those are usually the ones who go home first. If they can't make a song their own, then they're finished.

I've been watching since the very beginning when Kelly Clarkson was the first winner. She really stood out from everyone else, but I really didn't notice her until much later in the rounds. My eyes were fixed on Ryan Starr's abdomen. Once she was gone, then I noticed Kelly. lol

After watching for the past few years, I have a feel for the unique ones already.

I would rather stick slivers of bamboo under my nails and eyelids than watch that piece of dog poop show.
