Watching this movie again and I am glad she made it out of there.

Just wish there was a sequel, starring Chuck Norris and Delta Force, which is one of my all time favorite movies, exacting revenge on those scumbags.

Betty Mahmoody was VERY lucky, not many got out of there, even now, today many American and Western women are being held hostages in these muslim hellholes.

Many died in that Iranian hellhole.

Many never see the light of day or freedom again if caught, they get walled in by their 'loving husbands' to be kept forever till they die in a prison of their loving muslim husbands making or are just outright killed.

Had a female relative in my own family stupidly marry an iranian... he managed to get her to go back with him to his cesspool of a country, she will never be seen again by this family and prolly is dead.

My grandmother died not ever knowing what happened to her, my uncle's granddaughter, he too died not knowing what became of her.
