I wasn't sure what forum to put this in - so if this belongs somewhere else, feel free to move it.

I frequently make trips down to Walter Reed to spend the day with our wounded Troops & take donations down for them. On Sunday, I had enough time after I left the hospital to go to Arlington National Cemetary to see the changing of the guard at The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier before I started my drive back to PA. Here are a few shots that I got while I was there. Notice the visiting deer in the one shot :) Enjoy!

ArmedForces I was just talking to a friend about my desire to go to Walter Reed and visit the troops and pay my respects to them. Do you go with a group or is this an independent thing?

I'm the PA State Director for Give 2 The Troops - I also work with Operation First Response (WONDERFUL organization!), so I go down on behalf of these 2 organizations.

I just got clearance to go any time I want - any day of the week! :grin: So I'm really happy about that. It becomes an addiction - these guys/gals are just so amazing...definetely the most sincere & dedicated people I've EVER met!
