As some of ya'll know, my grandpa suffers from Parkinson's Disease (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkinsons). He was diagnosed about 10 years ago. Since then, he has endured many years of hardships, pneumonia, falls, Prostate cancer, and many near-death experiences. He has a huge will to livea, and as a result he has lived to be a great-grandfather, at the age of 78, just last week.

But he has also a new obstacle called Merkel cell cancer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkel_cell_cancer). Doctors don't think he'll live much longer than a year.

Please pray, as this whole ordeal has put so much stress on my grandmother, and as a result is stressing the entire family of my gradparents(some 40 people). Tensions are quite high between my mom and grandma right now too.

Lord of Hosts, Heaven and Earth,
Father of all creation, we honor You as Master and Ruler. In Your Will lies perfection, though in our hearts, human and frial, we are mired in doubt and fear. Yahweh we cry out to You on behalf of Teenager, his loved ones, his grandfather and all that lies before them as a family. The road has been fraught with struggle, with still more obstacles ahead. We humbly ask Your Divine Intervention, with the situation, the worry, the concern and the care. Be with the physicians as they treat his grandfather, and if it be Your Will Lord, show a great healing which can only come from Your Power that Your Glory be made manifest before men. But if it server a greater purpose that this situation end in sorrow, we pray Your Grace, and Mercy, and in greater measure Your Peace that passes all understanding be poured out on those which grieve. We cannot see what You have in store, and so we trust and obey the One Who Knows the future. Thank You God Almighty, for Your Loving Embrace, and for being our Comforter in times of need. We humbly put these requests before You, and do so in the marvellous Name of Your Son, Jesus,
Amen.

Thanks guys. He was always a great grandpa. Everybody in town loved him. His nickname was Leon "Lightening" because he held a record in track in high school, which lasted for almost 50 years. I think it was 50 meters(?) or something.

As a Grandpa, he always cared for us, and was the best grandpa ever.

Oh Sweetie! So sorry to hear about your grandpa!!! I had an aunt who died from Parkinson's. It is horrible for the family to watch! My prayers go out not only for your grandpa, but for your whole family. May you feel the warmth and peace of the Father's hands on you all.
