... happened today, I'm curious if anyone has ever encountered this before.
I am a voracious reader -- the librarians HATE to see me coming, because there's always a huge pile of books waiting for me (I just LOVE online book ordering, and so grateful our library has that system in place :thumb: ).
Anyhoo, the new book I'm reading is called "Hollywood Nation" by James Hirsen (of NewsMax -- go figure, the library has this one but DOESN'T stock his other one, "Tales From The Left Coast" which I really want to read too!). So I'm ALMOST finished with the book, I get to page 230 which ends with an incomplete sentence, so I go to the next page and start reading, but it's NOT the end of the sentence I was just reading. In fact, it's not even the BOOK I was reading! At the top of the next page (supposed to be page #231) is the title "Last Chance In Texas" with the page number as #247!!! I turn the page, and keep turning, it is the last few pages of THAT story, then an Epilogue, and an index. There's NO MORE pages of the Hirsen book!
So, now, I'm left hanging, because I'm left at the middle of a sentence, and the last two chapters of the book are completely missing! Did anyone read this book, that can tell me about the end chapters?
I'm going to take it to the library and report it tomorrow, but I just thought this was absolutely weird ... never had this happen to me before, LOL.
Oh, and on a side note, I became the parent of a legal driver today, http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/icon9.gif . My little man ain't so little anymore ... (neither is my insurance bill, LOL).
