A glimpse of America's future if McCain, Kennedy, and Bush get their way on immigration:

In Maywood, where 96% of the residents are Latino, and more than half are foreign-born, the City Council has vowed to make the municipality a "sanctuary city" for illegal immigrants, and over the last few months it has set out to prove it.

First, the city eliminated the Police Department's traffic division after complaints that officers unfairly targeted illegal immigrants. Then it made it much more difficult for police to tow cars whose owners didn't have driver's licenses, a practice that affected mostly undocumented people who could not obtain licenses.

In January, the City Council passed a resolution opposing a proposed federal law that would criminalize illegal immigration and make local police departments enforce immigration law. Now, some in the community are pushing to rename one of the city's elementary schools after former Mexican President Benito Juarez and debating measures to improve the lives of illegal immigrants. . . .

The mexicans know they cannot take back what once was theirs by militaristic means.

The answer? Swarm and populate until they can. Chilling, but its a fact. In 50 years, 100 years, who knows, but California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas will all be unofficial Mexico.

The Mexicanization of California is just getting worse and worse...

Cities in southern California are using Maywood as a model. They want to refashion their cities in the same mold.

If city government is going to flagrantly and brazenly violate the law, that government should not be allowed to exist. The state should step in, erase Maywood's city government, and start over from scratch. The lawbreakers who hold elective positions now should then be permanently banned from holding elective office. If criminal charges are possible, those charges must be pursued as aggressively as possible.

Well, so much for the 1848 Treaty of Guadelupe-Hidalgo and the 1853 Gadsden Purchase. All those who gave their lives in that war against Mexico and the $10 million spent on the land in Arizona are all for nothing. Looks like Mexico will get it's land back and then some.

Congrats, President Bush, on doing nothing!

Ever see an extended family of Mexicans in a chevy station wagon? That'll be Maywood. 20 Mexicans sharing a single bathroom house. That'll clog up the lines, too.

The problem is the city, state and federal public dummies who are allowing this crap to happen. I wonder what it takes, besides Americans getting off our asses, to rout those clowns from their useless, do-nothing positions?

Once off our asses, Wolfie, what should we do then?

And Vincente Fox continues to receive praise for his efforts at reducing poverty in Mexico. Hmm well I wonder where they're all going?! Not the U.S. of course!

Maywood is just the first city to dismantle its American laws and institutions and replace them with mexican laws and institutions. Actually just remove laws, there is no need to replace them with anything.

Just a thought....
