Decision in Lafave case means teacher, student won't have to testify

ORLANDO, Fla. - State prosecutors decided Tuesday to drop charges against a former Tampa teacher accused of having sex with a 14-year-old middle school student.
The decision means Debra Lafave won’t go to trial and the victim won’t have to testify.
Prosecutors announced the decision hours after a judge rejected a plea deal that would have meant no prison time for Lafave. “Quite frankly, if the allegations against the defendant are true, the agreed-upon sentence shocks the conscience of this court,” said Marion County Circuit Judge Hale Stancil.

In the press conference, she claims she's bipolar, and says it's the reason for her behavior. She also says she now wants to be a journalist. She's taking an online course (I don't recall if she specifically says it's in journalism), so she'll soon be fully qualified to report the news (at least in her mind, but I'm sure that, compared to some of the clowns out there, she will be).
Her ex-husband says there's a double standard, but has no opinion on her claim of being bipolar. He's P.O.'d that she hasn't apologized to him for tainting his name. He questions her new fiance's judgment in getting involved with her, given what she's done.

I am infuriated with this ruling. Absolutely insane. Yes I know the young man is no doubt proud he got his rocks off with the teacher, but she HAD NO RIGHT. That Bipolar crap makes me want to go nuclear. If I have to hear her pansy butt whiney self justification on the radio again I am going to through up, with or without Chemo!
