An illegal alien(?), driving illegally, while illegally ditching school, illegally evaded police and wrecked his van. Anybody want to guess just how much taxpayers are going to pay to deal with the mexican's severed hand?
At least one girl was seriously injured Tuesday as hundreds of students from Dallas and other area school districts again converged on Dallas City Hall. By midday, buses were arriving to pick up the protesters and return them to school.
Witnesses said an 18-year-old Spruce High School student's hand was severed when a van of students in which she was riding rolled over at an intersection.
Claxton said officers observed the vehicle, driven by an unlicensed 15-year-old, weaving through traffic near Skyline High School just before the crash at 10 a.m.
"We were attempting to catch up with them, and unfortunately they came through this intersection at a high rate of speed," he said. "This is an example of what can go wrong when they go wild." A boy who identified himself as the victim's brother told WFAA-TV that "when the car flipped, her hand just tore off."
Claxton said the girl was hospitalized, and there was no word on whether three others in the van were seriously hurt.
Meanwhile, hundreds of students streamed off trains at Union Station and marched up Young Street in downtown Dallas, whooping and hollering, waving the Mexican flag and chanting “Si, se puede,” meaning “Yes, we can.” Some tried to push their way into City Hall; others began jumping into the fountain outside. . . .
