Chanting “We Need Change,” hundreds of students today walked out of their classes at Columbia High School in Maplewood because they say their principal is racially insensitive.
“Our principal is unfit to serve as our principal,” said the organizer of the walk-out.
It all started after one student says principal Renee Pollack asked her to give an oral presentation about her family for a Black History Month assembly.
“It was about my father leaving my house and she asked me to perform it because it showed the struggles in black homes and how homes are fatherless,” said Karissa Merceus, who says she performed the monologue, only realizing it was offensive later on.
Another student tells us she was so offended she approached the principal.
“I asked her what kind of message was she trying to send to our students...that's not African-American history...and she said it's a statistic the majority of African-Americans are fatherless,” Leah Richard said.

The principal is correct! The principal also might have reminded the student that blacks are "overrepresented" in terms of conviction for violent crime, incidence of drug addiction, and even rate of AIDS. But I guess liberals feel "Black History" should always be "sanitized", lest the blacks become disgusted with what has happened to their beloved "black community"?

I was listening hard to the profound thoughts of those brave, bold, earnest students trying to make a difference in this crazy, wacky world, but then I was distracted by a popcorn fart.

Of course, it's "Black History"...and far more relevant and important than the exaggerated -- or outright fabrication -- Africanization crap that they currently glory in. You can't walk around with a belly full of pride (arrogance) touting the achievements of Michael Jordan without looking at the other side.
Black "families" can be best epitomized by the statement: "Feets, don't fail me now!"

I would rather she got up there, placed a piece of cardboard down and spun on her head to Public Enemy. Then ate some chitlins.
But I have no respect for maudlin cryasses.
My wife never had a pa either. He shot his head off. She never had to perform a skit about it or do mime presentations. She bucked the fuk up.

The clueless little pissants walk out at the slightest hint of real or usually imagined provocation, and then we wonder why the ed system turns out illiterate, innumerate, future welfare parasites. If the ignorant assmites spent as much time learning as they do bitching and whining and taking hikes, they'd be a benefit rather than a liability and a burden to the country.

My father was killed when I was seven, but that's not WASP history, my 'ethnic' background nor an excuse or reason for what I have or have not made of my life. These people should stop trying to blame everyone but themselves for what they have or haven't done with their lives.

Wyatt, I know Jessica is the ever hyped Barbie Doll of Hollywood but as I gaze at her picture there I can't help but realize she's got some major Body Karate.

She's got the jujuitsu and the sumo working together. I could get beat down by that. Its a new art. I call it Titty Fu. Or, if you aren't as sophisticated as I am, simply Boob Fu. She can knock you out with either one.

And her shirt....there's just that oooooooooone pesky little button....it could give way any minute..............:licky:

Yeah. She makes it hard to concentrate.
Let's take that sentence literally, then rearrange it. SHE makes it hard, thus the concentration issues. Blood loss to the head, reading posts becomes futile. I may post another pick if this one is too pecker friendly.

Put your hands in the air and back away from the Control Panel slowly!!!!! LOL!!!!
I had no clue what y'all were talking about regarding "Jessica" until I clicked on Wyatt's profile. Maybe I should turn signatures back on, but then I would have to see that Cindy Sheehan picture.

Not to interrupt a perfectly good, life-validating discussion on the merits of Jessica Simpson, but I was wondering if this mass student-walkout might spark a trend? 'Cause if it is, I may have to start bringing a book to school to read in case any of my classes decides to join some ad-hoc movement and leave me all alone in my classroom. On second thought, I think I'll bring a cot. I can always catch up on sleep.

Nope. 'Twasn't me. One year we spent as much time outdoors as we did indoors because of one bomb threat after another. I finished Victory: The Reagan Administration's Secret Strategy That Hastened the Collapse of the Soviet Union by Peter Schweizer, the same one who wrote [i]Do As I Say (Not As I Do).
Now, back to Jessica. If my students walk out, instead of reading, maybe I'll just study Wyatt's sig line.
Maybe you should post Wyatts sig line up in order to keep the students in the classrooms (the male ones anyways)

In my day, you wouldnt have seen students walking out of any school for any reason... This episode has nothing to do with racial insensitivity - it has everything to do with our collapsing public school system...
If they walk out, they should be locked out... Done!

Most young skulls full of mush would too... All kids are idiots - its their nature - they dont understand the worth of education... But their parents would get the message loud and clear...
My dad would have ripped me a new asshole if I had walked out of school to protest some pop culture social issue...
Its time to close this failed experiment we call the public school system... Those parents who truly care enough about their children will see to their education - those who dont (which I suspect are in the majority today) will continue to do what they are doing now - nothing...
The result will be a minority but not insignificant portion of literate, well educated young people, and the rest will be more or less about as educated as they are now - Which is to say, not at all... So the end result will be a significant positive overall gain to society...

Let Bill Cosby talk to the kids and parents at that school and see if the excrement doesn't strike a ventilator.
I've replaced her with Ted Kennedy. http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/images/icons/drink.gif Pervo-Ted in a suit is less nauseating than Cindy Sheehan with her skirt hiked up to her lower back.

Thanks for the mental image. I just vomited all over myself.

"State of Fear" is widely recomm:grin: ended, even by the great Maha Rushie. I bought it and read it in a short time. But I like the documentation and the discussion of the philosophy of fear that has been repeated throughout history. Sometimes it seemed that the envirowackos couldn't be so far out there, but then you look at the recent stories and realize that they are. Stories like Greenland is melting and Islands are disappearing and any number of disasters. He also mentioned about the trillions of dollars available for the milking that is the real reason for the whole global warming scheme and all other wacko schemes.

There are frontal pictures of Ted without a shirt or bra on. He looks better in Doom's pic.
As for students walking out of school, does that affect the money the schools get from the government, since it's usually based on average daily attendance? To get the money, I believe they have to at least show up for roll call, then it doesn't matter what happens afterward.
