I have my brother's kids over at the moment, and one of them spilt some red goo on my keyboard. It was only a little on the side and I cleaned it up thinking it had no effect and they kept on playing with no trouble. Later however, I discovered several buttons became inoperable.

One of the enter buttons

and

d h . , v

I put them on a text document so I could copy and paste them when necessary, and I tell ya, this sucks big time!!

Can I fix this??? Or I go get new one?

Yeah, this happens to me all the time when I spill water on my keyboard.

If it is a very viscous goo that will not dry out, you will have to remove the keys and manually clean the ones that aren't working. This is accomplished easily with a butter knife and a quick but firm push by sticking the knife under the key and popping it off. Then, use alcohol with a paper towel to thoroughly clean the "insert" where the key contacts the actual "board".. this is very simple to do. If there is any gunk left, you may want to get a q-tip and also swab with alcohol. DO NOT USE WATER. I made this mistake the first time and it ruined my keyboard permanently. When finished, you can then simply push the key back on and it will lock.. Be sure to press it several times to make sure it is locked and let the keyboard sit for a few hours so any remaining water in the alcohol can dry out and not get pushed into the electronics.

If you ever spill water or other non sticky fluid on the board, disconnect and let it sit for a few days to dry and it will be as good as new.

Well, the first thing I did was listen to the advice of my friend who was on MSN at the time. He told me, get water, q-tips, and clean out the keyboard..... Well, this fried it even more. I didn't see your post until later. LOL

Anyway, I got a new keyboard now. This one was almost broke as well! It uses a "PS 2" connection I think, that is what it says on the box... Ummm, round, with maybe 5 or 6 needles. My old mouse which broke some time back uses the same connection. Anyway, my new keyboard's connector was all messed up, needles bent in strange directions, and the black thing in the middle popped out when I tried to adjust it. I think they may have given me a used keyboard, it was only about 10 bucks. Anyway I fixed the needles, and gently got it to insert into my computer after about 20mins. I am never going to unplug it.

Anyway, I got a new keyboard now. This one was almost broke as well!Sounds like the seller stiffed you. If you don't mind a black keyboard, this is the one I use. I buy them 3-4 at a time. They're 7 bucks each, the lowest price I've seen for them.
