Al Gore: The End is Near
Former vice president Al Gore is predicting the end of all human life on the Planet Earth if Washington doesn't do something to stop Americans from causing global warming.
"If we allow this to happen, we will destroy the habitability of the planet," Gore told a group of environmentally minded corporate executives in California on Thursday.

Al Gore's end is the current receptacle for his head.
Still, he is the best and the brightest that the Democrat Party had to offer in 2000. In 2004, the Democrat Party wised up, and realized that John Forbes Kerry was the best and the brightest that the Democrat Party had to offer America.
He was rejected and defeated by the voters also also....

Fifty years from now, historians will read AlBore's rants and put his credibility in the same class as Ross Pee-rot's claim that George Bush messed up his daughter's wedding.

By the time everyone figures it out, Gore and the GW alarmists will have made their billions and then some of them will apologize and say they were wrong, then they'll say "we are now heading toward an ice age unless we do something." It is a state of fear. It never seems to end. But they are full of crap, I won't buy into it. In fact, I would place odds, if I were a betting man.

Somebody also needs to remind Albert that the Unemployment Rate averaged 5.8% during Clinton's first 5 years in office, whereas is has averaged only 5.4% during Bush's first 5 years in office, and that's despite the negative impact of 9/11.
Albert is such a goofball, and a very dishonest one at that.

I agree with ThomasMoore. This is a correct statement.
Al "The Tree" Gore is fearmongering, nothing more. The solution..... just send all your money to "The Annointed" so they can "save" us (in their mercy).
Notice that Al Gore doesn't say "we" do something..... he says "Washington" has to do something. Government, from which "all good" comes, per delusional Liberals.

Ok I was surprised to read of a claim that global warming stopped in 1998 and has been about zero either way since.
So I read the posted article with anticipation and when finished was fuming. The article is a lie since the Climate Research Unit never said such a thing on their own website!
From the posted link:Bolding mine.
There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998
By Bob Carter
(Filed: 09/04/2006)
For many years now, human-caused climate change has been viewed as a large and urgent problem. In truth, however, the biggest part of the problem is neither environmental nor scientific, but a self-created political fiasco. Consider the simple fact, drawn from the official temperature records of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, that for the years 1998-2005 global average temperature did not increase (there was actually a slight decrease, though not at a rate that differs significantly from zero).
I knew immediately that it was false since their website shows the very opposite.I post a link here to prove my claim something the writer in the article never did.

Go look at the thumbnail graphs and see how the writer lied.
Still think that warming stopped?
Go to bottom of the page for the ANNUAL global temperature chart.
Here is a link to the SATELLITE data that shows clear demonstrable warming since 1998.
The Satellite Record 1979-2006 http://www.john-daly.com/bullet.gif
The newest and best way to determine global temperature is to use satellites to measure the temperature of the lower atmosphere, giving the Earth a uniform global sweep, oceans included, with no cities to create a false warming bias. This second method, used since January 1979, has a published margin of error of +/- 0.05 C/decade, and is clearly the best record we have. Here are Global Mean Temperature anomalies of the lower atmospherefor the 27-year period January 1979 to March 2006. It shows a very different picture to that of the global `surface record' over the same period.

Here in this link is the MONTHLY Satellite data from 1979 to march 2006.
http://vortex.nsstc.uah.edu/public/msu/t2lt/tltglhmam_5.2
There from 1998 a total of 86 months of warming and 13 months of cooling.7 of the cooling months were in 1999.
From late 2000 to mid 2004 there was a streak of 44 consecutive months of warming.
Sorry fellas but there is a warming trend since 1998.

OK, but in 1993 it showed clear demonstrable cooling since 1988, so what's your point?

I was disputing #14 post where it says something that I have demonstrated as false. The writer apparently lied and that is why I made a rebuttal to it.
The point I made is something you did not dispute anyway.
So what was YOUR point of this post of yours?

Simple - one decade we have "global cooling", then the very next decade we have "global warming".
Which is a heckuva basis to sign a treaty about "global warming" on.

Well I was not disputing the variations by the decade. Why not stick to the relevant discussion?
I was disputing the ARTICLE dprasse posted claiming falsely that since 1998 it has been about zero to a slight cooling.
