I am now an official PETA member: People for the Elimination of Tiny-brained Assholes.
To these idiots from this:
The blood-smeared activists each carried a cross as nearby protesters in the square outside St. Stephen's Cathedral held signs with messages such as "We suffer and die for your sins of nourishment."
Bruce Friedrich, spokesman for PETA in the U.S., told WorldNetDaily causing offense was not the goal, but if there are any objections they should be about suffering animals, not "street theater."
"Words and images aren't offensive to God," he said. "What is offensive to God is the satanic treatment of God's creature by factory farms and slaughterhouses."
My response to this apparent targeting of Christianity as its the ONLY faith they can use, target and abuse in such a fashion without severe consequences:
Book of Genesis
Chapter 9
1 And God blessed Noe and his sons. And he said to them: Increase and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 And let the fear and dread of you be upon all the beasts of the earth, and upon all the fowls of the air, and all that move upon the earth: all the fishes of the sea are delivered into your hand. 3 And every thing that moveth and liveth shall be meat for you: even as the green herbs have I delivered them all to you: 4 Saving that flesh with blood you shall not eat. 5 For I will require the blood of your lives at the hand of every beast, and at the hand of man, at the hand of every man, and of his brother, will I require the life of man.

To quote, Acts 10:9-15:
The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat, but while they made ready, he fell into a trance and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. And a voice came to him, "Rise, Peter; kill and eat."
But Peter said, "Not so, Lod! For I have never eaten anything commonor unclean."
And a voice spoke to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed you must not call common."
My point in all this? I take my marching orders from the Bible. PETA has no problem with unborn babies being turned into medical waste in the name of reproductive rights, but God forbid (in their minds) an animal should die for our nourishment.

There are people on both sides of the abortion issue in the animal rights movement, just as there are people on both sides of animal rights issues in the pro-life movement. And just as the pro-life movement has no official position on animal rights, the animal rights movement has no official position on abortion. --PETA's cop-out, no doubt?

Uhh, maybe we should introduce them to the filipine practice of being nailed to a cross, its right up their alley. Yeah, they don't mind dis-obeying the scriptures, but obeying them? No way! God told Abraham to kill his own son, but then he provided another sacrifice. Now Jesus is our sacrifice. Animals are meant to be eaten and be pets. They are for our pleasure. Of course we shouldn't be cruel for cruelness sake, but animals are meant to be food for us or to serve us loyally as pets. But we reciprocate with love and care to animals as we thank God for the blessings that they are.
