Just saw it happen on CNBC. What a great message to send, when our government claps the irons on some Chinese dissident, all while our politicos look on in approval, in order not to embarrass the murdering Chinese Communist dictator. But it's OK. Bill Gates says so.

Sometimes I wonder about where our government has their heads... I also wonder how much of the American population remembers that we have a constitution and what is contained therein...

It's all about money. As long as the "brotherhood of darkness" gets it's pockets full they could care less about our History or our Constitution.

Big buisiness deals going down. Microsoft, Boing, government loans to keep the dollar floating etc, etc

Bush in my opinion is so wrong in so many ways lately. He is turning moderate RINO on us no question.

The falling dollar.
Out of control spending.
A$$ kissing of illegals and Fox.

And now we have this thug in the White House as a guest who time and time again threatens Taiwain and anyone who expresses religious freedoms in China.

What is happening to conservatives?

What is happening to conservatives?

Money has replaced God.
The Wall Street Journal has replaced the Bible.
Free Markets have replaced free peoples.
Supranational trade entities have replaced the nation.
The World Court has replaced the Supreme Court.
Polyglot atheistic multiculturalism has replaced "one NATION under GOD."

"The capitalist," Lenin is alleged to have said, "would sell the rope that would be used to hang him."

The arrival ceremony for Chinese president Hu Jintao was interrupted by a protester who appealed to President Bush to stop Hu from 'persecuting the Falun Gong,' a banned religious movement in China.

The woman began shouting from the top of a camera stand located directly in front of Hu and Bush.

Our cranio-rectal politicians must have a phobia about having the Chinese pieces of sh*t insulted. China's days as anything of importance are numbered, in my honest opinion. And so are the days of our ass-kissing public servants.:flame:

Our politicians will sell their own souls to gain access to cheap labor, even slave-labor upon which the chinese seem to be practicing without any consequences thereof.

Actually, China's ascendency is here. Our subtle descent has been due to the commie and socialist operatives here who have infiltrated our government at all levels since the sixties and earlier.

I heard all about this on conservative talk shows. :)

The MSM is outraged (surprise, surprise  ). They are treating this as an embarassment.

Funny. I never heard them complain about protesters in Europe bashing Bush.

Do you guys remember the incident in Australia? When that woman started yelling at Bush and he popped out with "I love freedom of speech!" which got him a round of applause from the rest of the parliament?

Do you remember hearing the MSM saying what an embarassment it was for the Australian government? Neither did I.

But here comes a communist dictator and gets an earful and the MSM is shocked - shocked, I tell you - and feels embrarassed.

Personally, I thought it was fantastic. I enjoyed every minute of it. And what I enjoy most of all is the fact that Mr. Hu was forced to put up with it and could do nothing about it. LOL.

It is a matter of some confusion.

China is ascendant as it becomes more capitalistic. Our descent is as we become more socialistic.

China may be capitalistic in the economic sense but its entirely Communistic in the social/Political sense.

The Chinese believe in and practice mercantilism. Our political class is playing Adam Smith but the Chinese are preparing for a re-enactment of the British Empire and the creation of economic colonies that serve their homeland--and nothing more. There are a lot of stupid people in our government and in think tanks. And there are a lot of treasonous business whores who see China and can only think about how rich it will make them personally--and damn everything else.

It seems to me our descent is from our public servants' undying desire to kiss low-life butt, and the rest of us Americans' willingness to allow our thumbs to rest up our butts and do nothing about it.<!-- / message -->

An authoritarian or totalitarian government in a country with a nominally capitalist economy is fascist, IMHO. There is little difference between it and an authoritarian or totalitarian government in a country with a nominally socialist economy, which I call communism.

During WWII many American corporations made a killing (pun intended) using Concentration camp slave labor (There is nothing like working people death to ensure your profits.). It is quite possible that the holocaust would never have been possible without the enthusiastic assistance of the good people at IBM.

Today, these same folks are at it again, using Chinese slave labor to pad their wallets. (Own a Bible? Work him to death then harvest his organs and sell them!)

Tell me, besides the one example of IBM, did American corporations profited from Concentration-camp slave labor?

Ok, let's see. First chris absolves Clinton from (indirectly, if you will) causing 9/11. Now, he wails against big corporations. Well, if I ever had a doubt that he is a liberal-in-disguise, that doubt has just been dispelled.

Psst, Chris! Your liberalism is showing.

I second this motion. I find this claim to be ludicrous!

Apparently, IBM made the punch cards and machines used to generate 5 digit prisoner numbers, and to track the prisoners.

In 1939, America had not entered the war, and it was still legal to trade with Nazi Germany.

Obviously some profit was made by other companies, legally if not morally. It is easy to put a negative spin on this, but it is important to remember that in 1939 a number of americans still professed a german heritage, and the general population didnt have access to information like we do. Its not like there were pictures of nazi death camps plastered on CNN.

Don't throw your "moderator" status around like anyone is impressed. As I have done every single time I have been asked, I will produce more information when I get the chance and I will put it in it's own thread so you can be sure to see it.

I don't throw it around to impress nor do I use it often. I just give hard warnings. I don't play footsy to get results!

Ever stop to think that the companies in Germany had no choice other than to work for the Nazis? There were plenty of German companies that didnt support the nazis but were forced to work for them too, Ford of Germany was just one of these companies without a choice.

Now in China on the other hand, the situation is entirely different, you can thank the communist slave drivers for it, but you certainly cant blame companies trying to make money on the modernization of a third world slum.

So you could also say companies are working to IMPROVE china, not to enslave its people.
