Mary Landrieu threatens to punch President Bush
Cynthia McKinney punches Capital Hill officer
Bill Clinton assaults a campaign workerI thought these people were members of the "peace generation." You know, "Make love, not war." "Give peace a chance." Etc.
What's going on with these liberals? Hmmm ...
There's something happening here. What it is ain't exactly clear.

Liberals are too smart to be contained by bourgeouis Laws! Laws are made to control the uninformed and recalcitrant conservatives or anyone else who doesn't acknowledge their innate superiority!

I have a theory. Liberals think that all americans (especially those of us on the right) are foolish, stupid, ignorant, gun-toting, bible-banging, NASCAR watching, racist swine.
How silly of us to pay attentions to such things as Laws! We should all know that socialism and communism don't need any laws because they are so innately just!
......
We're doomed if these people hold any more power then they currently have.

The issue is not that they are in fact above the law, but rather that they behave as though they are and they are not taken to task for it except by conservatives whom the drive-by media ignore.
BTW, welcome aboard, youse guys.

Welcome guys!
I think that liberals DO believe they are above the law. Why? Because they think they are the enlightened ones, the sophisticated ones, the educated ones. The Law is not for them. The Law is for, as aramdomguy said, the stupid, ignorant, bible-thumping, gun-toting, religious nuts on the right.
But don't be too harsh on liberals. They are not above all laws. There is one law that they abide by come hell or high water: The Law of Double Standards (to whit: what conservatives do, say, think is ALWAYS bad, wrong, criminal, etc. What liberals do, say, think is invariably above reproach).
No, really. Ask any of our resident liberals. They'll tell you.

Welcome aboard, Arandomguy and Scaramouche. Random, you forgot a few that I will add:
-Clinton screws Monica Lewinsky and then lies about it under oath. (A Republican would be crucified by Liberals no doubt)
-Clinton dodged the draft.
-Ted Kennedy murders Mary Jo Kopechne at Chippoquiddick (sp) while drunk driving and gets away with it.
-Dan Rostenkowski launders money and is only forced to resign his Congressional seat.
GOP or even us normal people would get put through the ringer on all of these.

Hi new guys. I think the reason liberals like to break the law is because they are aggravated and angry. They are always feeling that their rights are being violated, so they retaliate. Plus they react emotionally before they think it through.

But don't be too harsh on liberals..
You mean, they can't handle the truth????
;)

My friend, liberals cannot handle ANYTHING that stands in the way of their agenda. Anyone who disagrees with them is an idiot, stupid, ignorant (they love to throw that word around), etc., etc.
Above all, liberals cannot handle fact that prove how wrong they always are, and what piss poor liars they are.

Why do conservatives think they are above the law?
GW decides to ignore legislation and the constitution when it's inconvenient.
Tom Delay decides off-year gerrymandering is a fantastic idea and laundering money in violation of campaign finance laws is fun too.
Randy "Duke" Cunningham takes $2.4 million in bribes from defense contractors.
Governor George Ryan of Illinois is convicted of corruption charges.
Rush Limbaugh goes "doctor shopping" to get his pill-fix.
Dick Cheney as CEO of Halliburton used his subsidiaries to do business with Iran, a country he now calls a leading exporter of terrorism.
Please. Either side can play these cheap games. Isn't it time to focus on issues and have serious, honest, and open debate instead of cheap shouting matches?
...hey, I can dream right?

GW decides to ignore legislation and the constitution when it's inconvenient.
Liberals decide to insert words that NEVER were in the constitution when it's convenient to their agenda (abortion, same-sex marriage, you name it). Also, they decide to remove - and/or alter - words in the constitution when it's convenient (2nd Amendment).
Tom Delay decides off-year gerrymandering is a fantastic idea and laundering money in violation of campaign finance laws is fun too.
Clinton decides to sell national security to the Chicoms for "campaign contributions" and liberals think it's oh-so-cute.
Randy "Duke" Cunningham takes $2.4 million in bribes from defense contractors.
Sandy "Bugler" Burger stuffs classified material down his pants at the National Archives, and gets off with a mere warning.
Governor George Ryan of Illinois is convicted of corruption charges.
Marion Barry - Washington mayor - is caught doing drugs with a prostitute and liberals shrug it off with "boys will be boys."
Rush Limbaugh goes "doctor shopping" to get his pill-fix.
Every American's medical records are protected by HIPAA, especially those who have abortions ... but somehow, that doesn't apply to Rush, whose medical records - the same that should be protected by HIPAA - are published all over the place, and who is accused - by the same people who exonerated Marion Davis - of being a drug addict.
Dick Cheney as CEO of Halliburton used his subsidiaries to do business with Iran, a country he now calls a leading exporter of terrorism.
The mullahs in Iran would not be in power in Iran, as they are now, if Jimmy Carter had behaved like a president when he had the chance, instead of behaving like the Kumbaya-singing coward he is.
Please. Either side can play these cheap games. Isn't it time to focus on issues and have serious, honest, and open debate instead of cheap shouting matches? ?
*S N O R T* Since when are you interested in having serious, honest, and open debates? Your debating skills merely consist of "Well, your guys do it as well!" As if that instantly deleted the crimes committed by democrats ... or gave you any credibility at all.
...hey, I can dream right?
That liberals could ever be capable of focusing on issues and have serious, honest, and open debate instead of cheap shouting matches? Sure, dream on, kid. Dream on.
