THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA may have trouble resisting the temptation to declare that Karl Rove has been demoted, but the truth is quite the contrary. Rove didn't give up anything, he's just spreading his influence in a wider circle. He has to ensure that the likes of Arlan Specter gets elected and not a true conservative. His job is to maintain control.

The 'brother hood of darkness' is always about consolidating their power and control.
