The mexican government has asked that the US federal government stop the construction of a fence on private lands.

The US government is going to have to choose, very soon, on whose interests it really represents. Choose mexico and it will have a very hard row to hoe with American citizens.

From the link:
"A local immigrant right’s activist called the plan “nonsense.”
“The law enforcement issue should be handled by law enforcement,” said Enrique Morones, of Border Angels. “They’re the ones who should be worried about building walls or protecting the border, not the Minutemen. They crave attention.”"
A citizen can construct (including hiring someone to construct) a fence on his/her/their property, that's not craving attention. A citizen can protect him/her/theirself from criminals with security measures, that's not craving attention. Does this "local (ILLEGAL) immigrant right’s activist" understand the concept of PRIVATE PROPERTY? Build the fence!!!!

Does this "local (ILLEGAL) immigrant right’s activist" understand the concept of PRIVATE PROPERTY?Since as any Mexicriminal will tell you, all the states bordering Mexico are actually part of Mexico, the present occupants of the land are in fact living illegally in Mexico. Far from keeping the Mexicriminals out, we should be forcing the Americans out of those states.
It will come to violence. It's inevitable.

It will surely come to something very nasty if the National Guard is sent to try to stop construction on a fence on private property.
It will surely come to something extremely nasty if the mexican government seeks to take advantage of our newly minted eminent domain laws to take that property.
This will show us, in no uncertain terms which side our government really is on.

The title of this thread threw me a bit. Here I was thinking that the American Govt had sent in tanks to slaughter innocent protesters and the news forgot to cover the incident. Instead it is about a Fence that the MEXICAN Govt (not our Govt) is objecting too. I support the ideal of the fence but I really wish the Minuteman in question would not stoop to the level of liberals in spewing nonsensical rhetoric to support his arguments. The need for a fence is obvious, The delusional leap of parnoia that compares this situation to Tienamen Square is not.

If I were one of those spineless public servants, I would choose wisely which side I'm on.

Oh, I hope not. You know what the result will be: the Mexicriminals will be the poor, oppressed victims, and Americans will be the bad guys, as usual.
I really don't have the stomach to put up with that sort of crap, anymore. :sulk:

The whole point is, based on objections by mexico, what steps would our govt take to stop the building of the fence. Would the govt send the national guard to stop citizens from building the fence on private property?
It's unfair to prevent people living in such high crime areas from taking steps to secure their persons and property. The only secure areas around here are encased within 12ft high walls patrolled by armed private security.

Personally, I hope it does come to violence. By the way, have they never heard of the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, or do they think that since most of those sons of bitches can't read, it doesn't apply to them? Heck, we kicked their asses and then even paid them. What more do they want?
