Sorry Doc -- been playing around with trying to make an animated gif, and it didn't work. I'm trying to decide if I want to purchase this program or not, so using the demo I've been trying to create a gif, but I can't get it to work. Don't mind me ... it's just me being computer illiterate again, LOL.

As for a good GIF animation program, I recommend ULead's GIF Animator.

My greatest desire is to one day become an animationist. It's been my life-long dream. Right now, however, I am homeschooling two kids, so going back to school is not an option (yet). I have been trying to learn as much as I can on my own about animation, and have used (or tried to) several programs including Anim8tor, Maya (demo), and Serif. I have managed to create a dancing eggplant, a chicken whose beak goes from the front to the back of his head when he walks, and a "Sarcasm" gif (but I can't get it to animate -- none of which I've been able to use online (upload?).

Anyway, I am looking for an easy to use/easy to learn program to make animated gifs for my posts. Everything I've worked with either doesn't come with a tutorial, or the tutorial is confusing.

P.S. How expensive is ULean Gif Animator? Can I download it from the web, or buy it at BestBuy?
